Be Anxious For Naught ~

Be anxious for naught,
let nothing cause you dread
let go of that worry
filling up in your head.

Be concerned for zilch,
let Jesus take your care
let go of all that you fear
so your anxiety He can bear.

Be nervous for nada,
let Jesus have your doubt
let go of those problems
that are stressing you out.

Be burdened for zip,
let your troubles not alarm
let go of that heavy load
place it all in Jesus’ arms.

Be anxious for nothing,
is Jesus’ command to us
His peace He wants to give . . .
if we’d just let go and trust!

God Is Our Shelter ~

god-shelters-us-christian-poetry-by-deborah-ann

God is our shelter,
in the storms of stress
He brings comfort
to us in our duress.

God is our shelter,
in the storms of sorrow
He gives us the joy
to face the morrow.

God is our shelter,
in the storms of fear
He brings peace
by drawing to us near.

God is our shelter,
in the storms of grief
He gives us strength
brings our hearts relief.

God is our shelter,
in all the storms of life
He brings the calm
in the midst of our strife!

He is my refuge and my

in him will I trust.”

Breaking Point ~

Breaking Point ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

When you have reached,
your breaking point
turn to the Word of God
let it heal and anoint.

It will give you strength,
for what lies ahead
as you read the verses
pray to be Spirit lead

When you are confused,
not knowing what to do
open up your Bible
let its light show you.

On the pages you’ll find,
the truth and the way
and all of your tension
it will melt away.

When you have reached,
the point of breaking
trust God to do all . . .
your decision-making!

“Thy word is a lamp
unto my feet,
and a light unto my path.”

When Trials Blow Our Way ~

When Trials Blow Our Way ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

When trials blow our way,
on the winds of stress
when we start to feel
tense and hard pressed.

That’s when we need to go,
to the One who’ll ease
the whirlwind we are in
into a tranquil breeze.

When adversity slams,
on the door of our trust
when anxiety’s clamor
starts to overwhelm us.

That’s when we need to go,
to the Savior of our soul
and give to Him our fears
so He can take control.

When trials blow our way,
as worry slams about
that’s when we need Jesus . . .
to chart for us new route!

Matthew 8:26

“And he saith unto them,
Why are ye fearful, O ye
of little faith? Then he
arose, and rebuked the
winds and the sea;
and there was a great calm.”

Our Hope!

God's Got This used with permission IBible Verses

Searching for a new job,
can’t buy any gas?
Don’t know how much longer,
your last tank will last?

Can’t pay the mortgage,
kids need new shoes?
Feeling like you’ve paid,
more than your dues?

Health insurance expired,
can’t afford to get sick?
Sensing you’re up against,
a perpetual brick?

Life seems unfair,
can’t find your direction?
Too many unpaid bills,
too many, to even mention?

Tough times like these,
we all sometimes go through
but if we turn to Jesus
He’ll show us what to do.

He’ll give us the strength,
to manage and to cope
for when we trust Jesus
there is faith and hope!

Philippians 4:12-13
King James Version

“I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound:
every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full
and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

From Anxiety to Peace ~

From Anxietry to Peace ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

Be anxious for nothing,
let not anything cause you dread
let go of the worry
that is filling up in your head.

Be concerned for not a thing,
let Jesus take your every care
let go of all that you fear
and your anxiety He will bear.

Be nervous for naught,
let not your problems stress you out
let go of all your tension
and give Jesus your every doubt.

Be not burdened for anything,
let your troubles not cause alarm
let go of that heavy load
and place it in Jesus’ awaiting arms.

For when we’re overly anxious,
when we’re excessively concerned
our faith and trust we push away
and His peace we leave unturned!

Marc Minter

Jesus is the well of the living water, the Holy Spirit.

“It was the last and most important day of the Feast. Jesus stood up and spoke in a loud voice. He said, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Does anyone believe in me? Then, just as Scripture says, streams of living water will flow from inside him." When he said this, he meant the Holy Spirit. Those who believed in Jesus would receive the Spirit later. Up to that time, the Spirit had not been given. This was because Jesus had not yet received glory.” ‭‭(John‬ ‭7:37-39‬)
