The Fruit Of Love ~

The fruit of love,
we all need to grow
and in our lives
we must let it show.

For without love,
being constantly produce
the life of Christ
we cannot reproduce.

The fruit of love,
we all need to release
then with our enemies
we will seek peace.

For without love,
we hold on to grudges
and instead become
their juries and judges.

The fruit of love,
we need to cultivate
so that forgiveness
we can germinate!

Love Merciful ~

Love that is merciful,
needs to be kind . . .
for it to break through
the enraged mind.

For when love is,
in Jesus real . . .
embittered thoughts
It will heal.

Love that is forgiving,
is love that is blind
for it will forget . . .
words that aren’t kind.

For love agape,
holds no regrets . . .
the pain inflicted
its heart forgets.

Love that is gentle,
tenderhearted and kind
is a love we all need . . .
in Jesus to find!

May the love of Christ,
be inside of you
may others see it
in all that you do.

to show it to those
who are in Him lost.

for it is something

when you show it
for His name sake.

Whatever you do,
out of love perform it
for love can brighten
someone else’s spirit.

For love set in action,
is an amazing thing
for joy and happiness
to others it will bring.

out of love speak it
let your words together
be by love knitted.

goes a long, long way
for hope and peace
will fill someone’s day.

A Child Of God ~

A child of God is easy,
to pick out in a crowd . . .
for they are temperate
never tawdry or loud.

They are the ones sober,
gentle is their behavior
for they resemble the life
of their Lord and Savior.

A child of God is easy,
to spot when in a group
for they stand upright
never to sin do they stoop.

They are the ones confident,
for they’ve been transformed
no longer to this world
are they being conformed.

A child of God is easy,
to point out and to find . . .
for they’re the ones to others
who are loving and kind!
