A Kinder Place ~

I wish the world was,
a much kinder place . . .
I wish more would know
the power of God’s grace.
I wish it was filled,
with peace not strife
I wish more would find
in Jesus eternal life.
I wish the world was,
a better place to live . . .
I wish people would be
more willing to forgive.
I wish it were full,
of love and not hate
I wish more would find
the straight, narrow gate.
I wish the world was,
a much more kinder place . . .
I wish more heart’s were
tenderized by God’s grace!
~~~~~~~~
And be ye kind
one to another,
tenderhearted,
forgiving one another,
even as God
for Christ’s sake
hath forgiven you.
~ to GOD be the GLORY ~
Put On Your Grace Face ~
When other people’s walls,
you cannot bring down
and all they offer you
is a big, grumpy frown.
Put on your grace-face,
give them a smile
despite if they remain
to you hostile
When other people’s defenses,
you can’t break through
and bitter, cranky words
they throw at you.
But on your grace-face,
and to them be kind
even if they don’t pay
you back any mind.
When other people’s coldness,
you cannot penetrate
put on your grace-face . . .
and let Jesus’ love radiate!
A Life Drama Free ~
We all want to have,
a drama-free life
where love conquers
the everyday strife.
We all need to be,
less angry, more loving
we all need to become
more mercifully giving.
We all want to have,
a life free of drama
where peace surpasses
the everyday trauma.
We all need to be,
less cold and indifferent
we all need to render
grace more consistent.
We all want to have,
a life drama free . . .
and I know it starts
right here with me!
~~~~~~
But if ye bite and devour one another,
take heed that ye be not consumed
one of another.
And be ye kind one to another,
tenderhearted, forgiving one another,
even as God for Christ’s sake
hath forgiven you.

Words Spoken in Deeds ~
Acts of kindness,
words of hope
we all need them
to help us cope.
Acts of compassion,
words of forgiveness
we should all make
our daily business.
Acts of love,
words of encouragement
helps us through
our own discouragement.
Acts of gentleness,
words of appreciation
seen in our actions
and communication.
Acts of generosity
words of helpfulness
leaves no room
for our own selfishness.
Acts of kindness,
words spoken in deed
we all should give . . .
but, we also need!

The Gift of Goodness ~
The gift of God’s goodness,
is ours to give away . . .
for, we must always be ready
to show kindness every day.
The simple gift of a smile,
may brighten another’s day
giving someone a compliment
can go a long, long way.
A quick little thank you,
might be all someone needs
any selfless act of charity
should be in all our deeds.
We don’t need a lot of money,
to spread around compassion
we just need a heart for God
Jesusย the center,ย of ourย passion.
The gift of God’s goodness,
is ours to give away . . .
for we never know whose heart
our actions to God, will sway!

The Stranger ~
Lord, I saw You today,
on a strangers face
I could tell their smile
was full of love and grace.
Lord, I felt You today,
as they took my hand in theirs
it was as if they too could feel
all of my worries and my cares.
Lord, I heard from You today,
when they prayed just for me
their sweet words of comfort
brought me to my thankful knees.
Lord, I heard You today,
I felt Your very presence
in this stranger, You sent me
I got a glimpse of Your essence.

The Power of Forgiveness ~
There is nothing quite like,
the power of forgiveness
nothing is so freeing
as letting go of bitterness.
There nothing quite like,
forgiving and forgetting
undoing the damage done
without doubt or regretting.
There is nothing quite like,
a heart willing to believe
the words ~ I am sorry
so peace it can receive.
There is nothing quite like,
mending hurt feelings
resolving lifelong issues
to bring inner healing.
There is nothing quite like,
the attitude of humility
letting go and letting God
turn discord into tranquility.
There is nothing quite like,
the power of God’s grace
the pure joy of release
when forgiveness we embrace!

Be Slow in Your Anger ~
Be slow in your anger,
be slow to show your wrath
for you are called to peace
with self-control as your path.
Be not puffed up with pride,
be not filled with malice
for you’re called to be gentle
not thick-skinned and callous.
Put off all bitterness and hate,
put off the grudge inside you
for you are called to temperance
in everything you say and do.
Take off that old sinful man,
take off the old wicked nature
for you are called in His love
to bring hope for the future.
Be kind to one another,
be tenderhearted and forgiving
for Jesus is Godโs example
of how we should be living!
