Whatever you do,
out of love perform it
for love can brighten
someone else’s spirit.
For love set in action,
is an amazing thing
for joy and happiness
to others it will bring.
Whatever you say,
out of love speak it
let your words together
be by love knitted.
For love in motion,
goes a long, long way
for hope and peace
will fill someone’s day.
Whatever you say and do,
by charity be inspired
for this is what Jesus’ . . .
very own heart required!

Colossians 3:14
A new commandment
I give unto you, That
ye love one another;
as I have loved you,
that ye also love one another.

Blessed are the merciful,
those who do believe
it is better to be forgiving
then to injure or aggrieve.
For they know they must be,
kind, gentle and polite
so that for Jesus . . .
they can reflect His light.
Blessed are those merciful,
those who are generous
for their deeds of charity
are done with reverence.
For they know they should be,
compassionate and caring
for the love of God . . .
they are always bearing.
Blessed are those merciful,
those who do believe
for their acts of kindness . . .
mercy from God they’ll receive.

Remember me oh God,
for all the good I’ve done
for all the things I say . . .
about the love of Your Son.
Remember my good works,
the seeds I have sown
the hope I have brought
as faith in You was grown.
Remember my acts and deeds,
done out of hope and charity
to bring into a lost soul
the gift of eternal certainty.
Remember my many prayers,
for all of mankind
how much I wanted them
Your mercy and grace to find.
Remember me oh, God,
for all the good I say and do
how in this evil world I still . . .
unashamedly speak up for You!

Nehemiah 5:19
Think upon me, my God,
for good, according to all
that I have done for this people.
Psalm 19:14
Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength,
and my redeemer.

Justified by faith,
the good works we do
when Jesus we follow
the Gospel of You.
From works of the law,
we are no longer bound
now that our salvation
in You we have found.
Justified by faith,
to produce good fruit
when in You, Lord
they grow and take root.
Then kindness will be,
out of our hearts flowing
as acts of mercy
we continue showing.
Justified by faith,
the evidence of . . .
good works of charity
because Jesus we love!

What doth it profit, my brethren,
though a man say he hath faith,
and have not works?
can faith save him?

Sounding brass,
sharp and shrill
the call to charity
they can’t fill.
They seem to appear,
so strong and wise
but yet so oblivious
to charity’s cries.
Tinkling cymbals,
sound so sweet
but give no charity
to those they meet.
They look sincere,
so meek and small
yet still can’t hear
charity’s needy call.
Sounding brass,
tinkling cymbals
have not agape love . . .
plain and simple!

I am become as
sounding brass, or a
tinkling cymbal.”

I was hungry . . .
but you fed me not
from my thirst
I was pale and gaunt.
I had nowhere,
to lay my head
the clothes on my back
were mere threads.
I was sick,
but to me you didn’t come
you didn’t care in prison
if I was treated like scum.
I was a stranger,
but you looked away
hungry and thirsty
with no place to stay.
I needed a friendly hand,
for I’m meek and poor
but never once to ME . . .
did you open the door!

ye did it not to me.”

Once you have faith,
you mustn’t stop there
you need to add to it
more things with care.
To your faith add virtue,
and you will be pure
for faith and virtue
is ungodly living’s cure.
To virtue add knowledge,
it is the wisdom of life
for faith with knowledge
will cause you no strife.
To knowledge add self-control
in all the things you do
for faith and self-control
lets the light of God shine through.
To self-control add perseverance,
you will need it to faithfully run
for faith and perseverance
is the only way the race is won.
To perseverance add godliness,
in all that you say and do
then charity and brotherly kindness
will ooze right out of you!

2 Peter 1:5-7
“And beside this, giving all diligence,
add to your faith virtue;
and to virtue knowledge;
And to knowledge temperance;
and to temperance patience;
and to patience godliness;
And to godliness brotherly kindness;
and to brotherly kindness charity.

The gift of God’s goodness,
is ours to give away . . .
for, we must always be ready
to show kindness every day.
The simple gift of a smile,
may brighten another’s day
giving someone a compliment
can go a long, long way.
A quick little thank you,
might be all someone needs
any selfless act of charity
should be in all our deeds.
We don’t need a lot of money,
to spread around compassion
we just need a heart for God
Jesus the center, of our passion.
The gift of God’s goodness,
is ours to give away . . .
for we never know whose heart
our actions to God, will sway!
