True Love From God ~
True love comes from God,
then passed down to man
so we may too love . . .
as only Jesus can.
For our love is weak,
whereas His is strong
it shows us how to forgive
whenever we’re wronged.
True love comes from God,
is given freely to all
it brings redemption
when on Jesus we call.
For our love condemns,
but Jesus’ love atones
it shows us how not to be
the first to cast a stone.
True love comes from God
passed on to His Son
so we too like Him . . .
may love every one!
~~~~~
For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only
begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth
in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
A new commandment
I give unto you, That ye
love one another; as I
have loved you, that ye
also love one another.
~ to GOD be the GLORY ~
As I Look Around ~
Lord, as I look all around,
I see all You have made
I see the beauty in the sunrise
and the splendor when it fades.
I see the majestic mountain peaks,
and the hills brilliant, amber tops
I see the stars sparkle ever brightly
in a sky that never seems to stop.
Lord, when I look all around,
I see all the things You have done
I see how much I am blessed
by the love and grace of Your Son.
I see Your mercy dispersed,
when a Savior was given
to a world so full of sin
so all could be forgiven.
Lord, when I look all around,
I see Your glorious splendor
and I pray more souls to You . . .
their heart’s will surrender!
The Miracle of CHRISTmas ~
Throughout history,
God had a plan . . .
about how He could save
all of man.
So, He’s appeared to Moses,
in a burning bush
and in Elijah He was
that whispering, small hush.
He gave men dreams,
and many visions too
even a donkey talked
to get His Word through.
But man’s heart was like stone,
and wouldn’t heed to His way
and He knew like sheep
they had all gone astray.
So God became silent,
for over four-hundred years
what He was up to . . .
wasn’t meant for our ears.
Then He sent His Son,
one Christmas morn
and to the whole world
a Savior was born.
The Word became flesh,
and lived amongst us
and taught all who’d listen
how in His Father to trust.
He talked about sin,
repentance and forgiveness
He talked about His Fathers
mercy, grace and goodness.
His message was clear,
lives He could transform
if to the world ways
they would not conform.
And now two-thousand years,
have come and gone
but, the miracle of CHRISTmas
still today lives on.
For God had a plan,
right from the start
and it’s never to late to ask . . .
Jesus into your heart!
Our Life-Savior ~
Oh, what a Savior,
oh, what a safeguard
Jesus became for all
our heavenly lifeguard.
When to Jesus we come,
repentant and contrite
He’ll wash all our sins
from crimson to white.
Oh, what a Savior,
oh, what a surety
forgiveness of sin
is our security.
God’s incredible mercy,
Christ’s magnificent grace
is now for every heart
to eternally embrace.
Oh, what a life-line,
oh, what a life-preserver
for, Jesus truly is . . .
the world’s life-Savior!
When I Look Around ~
Lord, when I look all around,
and the splendor when it fades.
I see the majestic mountain peaks,
the hills brilliant, golden tops
I see the stars sparkle ever brightly
in a sky that never seems to stop.
Lord, when I look all around,
I see all the things You have done
I see everything I’m blessed with
and I am grateful for every one.
I see a warm and cozy home,
filled with all the love I need
I see the bounty on my full plate
and a Bible I can always read.
Lord, when I look all around,
I see the mercy You have given
I see the cross on Mount Calvary
and I’m thankful I am forgiven.
I see a world who doesn’t believe,
in the glory of Your grace
I see millions of lost people
who refuse to seek Your face.
Lord, when I look all around,
I see Your glorious splendor
and I pray more hearts to Your love
will truly yield and surrender!
The Best Love Story ~
A love story not written,
with ink from a pen
but dripping with blood
to release all from sin.
The scarlet thread of love,
woven throughout history
reveals to all the world
salvation’s true mystery.
The design of redemption,
was always in God’s plan
it was the only way to show
His mercy, to all of man.
For, God knew our souls,
needed true deliverance
so His sent His Son, Jesus
to atone, for our ignorance.
Grace mixed with blood,
the day those nails were driven
making the death of Jesus . . .
the best love story ever written!
The Greatest Love ~
So great is God’s love,
the whole world it embraces
so He gave the greatest gift
to every nation, to all the races.
God’s one and only Son,
came with the greatest invitation
those who puts their faith in Him
would be saved from damnation.
With the greatest certainty,
He guaranteed no eternal loss
promised salvation would come
from the One upon the cross.
With the greatest of assurance,
God grants us peace eternally
when Jesus, His greatest gift
we invite to live internally!
To Those Who Know Jesus ~
To those who know Jesus,
they understand the span
of His loving arms . . .
stretching out to all of man.
Upon the cross we know,
He died to forgive everyone
no matter whom we might be
regardless of what we’ve done.
His death brought new life,
saved us from damnation
with the gift of eternal grace
He bought our salvation.
He rose from the dead,
we call it His Resurrection Day
then sent His very Spirit
to shine light upon our way.
He went to be with His Father,
but left to all this promise
He would be sealed into . . .
our hearts and our conscience.
To those who know Jesus,
these facts we don’t refute
yet, armed with all these truths
the world still can’t compute!
