To Others Be Forgiving ~

To others be forgiving,
be tenderhearted too
for that is what Jesus
would have us to do.
For He was our example,
as to how we should be
so that His life in ours
others may always see.
To others be humble,
be compassionate too
let them see kindness
exude out of you.
For Jesus was merciful,
patient and kindhearted
and we too need to be
loving and warmhearted.
To others be forgiving,
be kind and loving too
just as Jesus has been
to me and all of you!
~~~~~~
And be ye kind one to another,
tenderhearted,
forgiving one another,
even as God for Christ’s
sake hath forgiven you.
Put on therefore, as the elect of God,
holy and beloved, bowels of mercies,
kindness, humbleness of mind,
meekness, longsuffering;
Forbearing one another,
and forgiving one another,
if any man have a quarrel
against any:
even as Christ forgave you,
so also do ye.
A Kind, Loving Spirit ~
A kind, loving spirit,
a heart gently caring
is something we need
to always be sharing.
Forgiving and gracious,
divine in nature
is the kind of love
we need to nurture.
A compassionate heart,
filled with brotherly love
resembling the same
as our Father’s above.
Affectionate and warm,
always charitable too
are the things we need
to always show and do.
A heart tender and kind,
a spirit gentle and warm
should be what becomes
our daily norm!
~~~~~~~~
And be ye kind one to another,
tenderhearted, forgiving one
another, even as God for Christ’s
sake hath forgiven you.
But the fruit of the Spirit
is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance:
against such there is no law.

If More People Forgave ~

If more people,
would just forgive
they would be
less combative.
If more would show,
mercy and grace
there’d be less anger
seen on their face.
If more people,
would be remorseful
their actions would be
a lot less forceful.
If more would find,
hope and peace
less resentment
would they release.
If all the people,
turned to the Light
there’d be no evil left . . .
in which to fight!
~~~~~~~
Let all bitterness,
and wrath, and anger,
and clamour, and evil
speaking, be put away
from you, with all malice:
And be ye kind one to another,
tenderhearted, forgiving one
another, even as God for
Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
Bitter Hearts ~
Bitter hearts,
hold venomous minds
full of resentments
of all sorts and kinds.
Refuse to let go,
choose to hold tight
to their past grievances
with all their might.
Angry souls,
hold wrathful thoughts
full of cursing
for in life their lot.
Won’t let the sun,
take with it the clamor
instead new expletives
into the night they yammer.
Bitter, venomous hearts,
angry, wrathful souls
need to let forgiveness . . .
take their thoughts in control!
~~~~~~~~
Let all bitterness, and wrath,
and anger, and clamour,
and evil speaking, be put away
from you, with all malice:
And be ye kind one to another,
tenderhearted, forgiving one
another, even as God for Christ’s
sake hath forgiven you.

True Love From God ~

True love comes from God,
then passed down to man
so we may too love . . .
as only Jesus can.
For our love is weak,
whereas His is strong
it shows us how to forgive
whenever we’re wronged.
True love comes from God,
is given freely to all
it brings redemption
when on Jesus we call.
For our love condemns,
but Jesus’ love atones
it shows us how not to be
the first to cast a stone.
True love comes from God
passed on to His Son
so we too like Him . . .
may love every one!
~~~~~
For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only
begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth
in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
A new commandment
I give unto you, That ye
love one another; as I
have loved you, that ye
also love one another.
A Kinder Place ~
I wish the world was,
a much kinder place . . .
I wish more would know
the power of God’s grace.
I wish it was filled,
with peace not strife
I wish more would find
in Jesus eternal life.
I wish the world was,
a better place to live . . .
I wish people would be
more willing to forgive.
I wish it were full,
of love and not hate
I wish more would find
the straight, narrow gate.
I wish the world was,
a much more kinder place . . .
I wish more heart’s were
tenderized by God’s grace!
And be ye kind
one to another,
tenderhearted,
forgiving one another,
even as God
for Christ’s sake
hath forgiven you.
Put On Your Grace Face ~
When other people’s walls,
you cannot bring down
and all they offer you
is a big, grumpy frown.
Put on your grace-face,
give them a smile
despite if they remain
to you hostile
When other people’s defenses,
you can’t break through
and bitter, cranky words
they throw at you.
But on your grace-face,
and to them be kind
even if they don’t pay
you back any mind.
When other people’s coldness,
you cannot penetrate
put on your grace-face . . .
and let Jesus’ love radiate!
Out With The Old ~
Out with the old,
on with the new
now that Jesus
lives inside of you.
No more bitterness,
no more anger
now that Jesus
is your Anchor.
No more grudges,
no more frustrations
now that Jesus
is your Foundation.
No more displeasure,
no more resentment
now that Jesus
is your contentment.
On with the new,
out with the old
now that you’re in . . .
Jesus’ fold!
The Power of Forgiveness ~
There is nothing quite like,
the power of forgiveness
nothing is so freeing
as letting go of bitterness.
There nothing quite like,
forgiving and forgetting
undoing the damage done
without doubt or regretting.
There is nothing quite like,
a heart willing to believe
the words ~ I am sorry
so peace it can receive.
There is nothing quite like,
mending hurt feelings
resolving lifelong issues
to bring inner healing.
There is nothing quite like,
the attitude of humility
letting go and letting God
turn discord into tranquility.
There is nothing quite like,
the power of God’s grace
the pure joy of release
when forgiveness we embrace!
