God’s Gift Of Trust ~

God’s gift of Trust,
is a treasure to find
it gives assurance
to both heart and mind.
It brings perfect peace,
when on God it’s stayed
it keeps us from being
afraid or dismayed.
God’s gift of Trust,
is something to seek
it gives us the strength
whenever we’re weak.
It keeps us believing,
all things He controls
so worry and doubt
can’t enter our souls.
God’s gift of Trust,
is a Divine blessing . . .
for it helps us into Him
to keep on pressing!

~ to GOD be the GLORY ~
Near-Sighted ~
Lord, may my eyes not be,
short or near-sighted
may they not become
from the world blighted.
May on Your light,
my focus always be
not on the things going on
right in front of me.
Lord, may my vision,
never get cloudy
may my eyes on You
be fixed soundly.
May in the distance,
I clearly see You
not with a marred
or distorted view.
Lord, may I not develop,
near or short-sightedness
so I may be full of . . .
the light, of Your likeness!

thy whole body shall be full of light.”

Make Fear Disappear ~
Life is full of apprehension,
worry, dread and fear . . .
and I know of only one way
to make them disappear.
So, whenever I’m fearful,
it’s Jesus I focus on
until my trepidation
is all but spent and gone.
For, He gives me strength,
to overcome my anxiety
whenever I give to Him
in my life first priority.
Whenever nervousness,
takes a grip on me
it’s Jesus I focus on
until, it’s His light I see.
For, He brings clarity,
in the midst of my doubt
His light floods the dread
from my mind right out.
Life is full of apprehension,
worry, dread and fear
but, focusing in on Jesus
will make them disappear!
