Look What Jesus Can Do ~

He makes the blind eye see,
the lame to up and walk
He gives life to the dead
the mute He makes to talk.

He turns water into wine,
sends manna from above
gives peace and hope to all
though His unconditional love.

He stills the storms at sea,
calms the roaring in the wave
He brings strength to the weak
the meek He makes brave.

He casts out the demons,
makes them run and flee
He loosens yokes that bind
sets the captives free.

He forgives the adulterer,
the murder and the thief
He breaks the stony heart
fills it with a new belief.

He died for all of mankind,
to bring eternal life
by taking upon Himself
the burdens of our strife.

Jesus did all of this,
and there’s more He can do
if you would let Him . . .
into the soul of you!

Perfected In Love ~

God in His everlasting love,
granted me His unmerited favor
the day I accepted Jesus
as my Lord and Savior.

He removed all my fears,
of eternal judgment
when willingly onto Himself
He took my punishment.

God in His righteous mercy,
condemns me no more
not since the day to Jesus
I opened my heart’s door.

He showed me forgiveness,
hope He gave to me
and now I am blessed
to believe in what I can’t see.

God in His everlasting love,
perfected His love in me . . .
and now in eternal torment
for eternity I will not be!

Hanging On ~

Some people are hanging,
on by a thin thread . . .
for their faith is stuck
inside their stubborn head.

It hasn’t made its way,
into their forgiven heart
that is why their faith
has so many false starts.

Some people are clinging,
onto a fraying rope
that is why their trust
leaves them with no hope.

For they haven’t learn,
to trust God in all things
instead they blame Him
for the storms life brings.

Some peoples faith,
is strong and mighty . . .
because their trust in God
is solid and not flighty!

have found forgiveness

Our First Love ~

Let us return to our First Love,
into the arms of everlasting grace
let our steps be healed and restored
let us earnestly seek God’s face.

Let us repent from our sins,
examine ourselves in His light
let us return to our First Love
with all our soul and might.

Let us turn to the Word of God,
for our path and instruction
let us return to our First Love
for the Way and true direction.

Let us lift our hearts and minds,
give unto God our very soul
let us return to our First Love
so we can once again be whole!
