Springtime Is In The Air ~

Springtime is in the air,
I can feel its warming trend
brighter days and longer nights
I know are just around the bend.

I eagerly await the change,
that comes along with Spring
knowing in my weary soul
God too will begin a new thing.

Springtime is in the air,
I can see its early bloom
melting away the aches
of winter’s chilly gloom.

For Springtime brings with it,
God’s promises of revival
restoration and re-birth . . .
upon its sunshiny arrival.

Springtime is in the air,
I hope you can feel it too
for it’s the time of year . . .
God uses to heal and renew!

A Holy Spirit Revival ~

Lord, we need a revival,
a head bobbing, banner raising
hand clapping, foot stomping
Holy Spirit filled revival.

Lord we need an awakening,
a gospel preaching, heart turning
sin repenting, life changing
Holy Spirit filled awakening.

Lord we need a quickening,
a daily living, life-long giving
fruit bearing, love sharing
Holy Spirit filled quickening.

Lord, we need a renewal,
a world reaching, grace saving
thirst quenching, mind drenching
Holy Spirit filled renewal.

Lord, we need a revival,
a roof raising, earthshaking
God-fearing, soul saving

When A New Day Comes ~

When a new day comes,
for me to rise and greet
I cast all my worries
first thing at Jesus’ feet.

For then I can start,
the day feeling renewed
and my worldly cares
my thoughts can’t intrude.

When the alarm rings,
telling me it’s that time
I ask Jesus to help me
as out of bed I climb.

For I know without Him,
how hard it would be
if His strength wasn’t . . .
working throughout me.

When a new day comes,
before I get up and go . . .
my burdens like blankets
onto Jesus I off and throw!

Into The Light Of Day ~

When all around me,
is cold and bleak . . .
when I’m feeling frail
fragile and weak.

I pick up my Bible,
to warm up my soul

my heart will console.

The Light Unto My Way ~

I tuck the Word into my heart,
then I go about my way . . .
knowing I can trust in God
to guide me through my day.

So I rise up before the sun,
to meditate and learn . . .
for, I desire that the Word
be the only lamp I burn.

I get such peace and hope,
as my Bible I read along
with each Scripture I study
I feel myself growing strong.

Before I start out the door,
I pray for God’s guidance
I wait until I can hear Him . . .
breaking through the silence.

I tuck the Word in my heart,
for it renews me day-to-day
it goes with me wherever I go . . .
for it is the light unto my way!

A New Heart ~

A new heart,
is made of flesh
with Jesus’ own
it now does mesh.

It is confident,
its been forgiven
by faith its made
this decision.

A new spirit,
is one at rest
it’s one where grace
has truly blessed.

It’s filled with hope,
joy and elation
it knows Jesus
is its salvation.

A new heart and spirit,
God wants to give
so into our soul . . .
He can come and live!

Springtime Is In The Air ~

Springtime is in the air,
I can feel its warming trend

Good morning Spring,
I’m so glad you’re here
with the sweet melodies
you sing into my ear.

I am so thankful,
for your sunny rays
for the fragrant blooms
you drift along my way.

My Gifts to Jesus ~

Lord, this year my gifts,
to You are going to be
to find joy and peace
in whatever You send me.

I’m going to give You,
a life of faithful service
filled with perseverance

for Springtime to begin

it’s alive and well

I Delight In His Word ~

My faith in God keeps growing,
it’s getting sturdier everyday
for, I delight myself in His Word
no matter the time of day.

The Word of God is nourishment,
day or night it makes me strong
it brings refreshment to my soul
wherever I go I take it along.

There is a continuous renewal,
flowing right out of my Bible
daily there’s a healthy influence
no matter my burden or trial.

I can see the fruit of growth,
maturing right inside of me
no matter the time of the season
I know in God’s Word I need to be.

My faith in God keeps growing,
for day and night I meditate . . .
I delight myself in His Word . . .
when on the Bible I vegetate!

Our First Love ~

Let us return to our First Love,
into the arms of everlasting grace
let our steps be healed and restored
let us earnestly seek God’s face.

Let us repent from our sins,

with all our soul and might.

for our path and instruction

The Light Unto My Path ~

I tuck the Word in my heart,

I know having the truth in me
will take me through my day.

I get such joy and pleasure,
in every delightful saying
I can hear the Word’s of God
whenever I am praying.

I long to have study time,
to meditate and learn
for I desire that the Word
