Keep The Fire Burning ~

Lord, keep the fire burning,
inside each of us . . .
so we may give to You
our complete trust.

Keep us on the road,
to righteous living
so we won’t go back
to a life of sinning.

Keep our love for You,
internally burning
so to Your ways . . .
we can keep learning.

Keep our hope in You,
ablaze and flaming . . .
so for the crown of life
we may remain aiming.

Lord, keep our heart’s burning,
with the Holy Spirit’s fire
so that Your own Words
will continue to inspire!

Let us return to our First Love,
