God’s Advantage Point ~

Today I prayed,
asking God what to do
and He responded . . .
My will you need to pursue.

I asked Him how,
His will I may know
and He answered
My Word the way will show.

So I bowed my head,
and opened up my mind
to the truth I knew
I was about to find.

And there it was in print,
what He wanted of me
as my eyes opened up
His answer I could see.

Today I prayed,
and God did not disappoint
for He showed me what to do
from His advantage point!

When the morning comes,
as the sun rises above
sing your praise to the Lord
for His mercy and His love.

Let Him know you’ll need,
the strength of His power

as the sun shows its bright face
thank and praise the Lord
for His life-saving grace.

Let Him know how much,
you count on Him to be
a refuge and a defense

all that’s causing your grief.

When hefty on your mind,
are worrisome thoughts
as they set out to bind
your faith into knots.

Know Jesus will bring you,
great comfort and good cheer
as He consoles you through
all you’ve come to fear.

When heavy and hefty,
are your problems and cares
know Jesus consolation
will lift you from your despair!

I can’t disguise or hide.
