God, My Wisdom ~
God, my Wisdom,
my Thought, my Insight
Your Word to me
is like a floodlight.
For it illuminates,
the darkness of the day
shedding the Light of Hope
upon the narrow way.
God, my Wisdom,
my Rational, My Clarity
Your Spirit guides me
to live a life of purity.
For He gives discernment,
truth and understanding
leading me on the road
to life that is everlasting.
God, My Wisdom,
my Intellect, my Intel
You give me the data
on which I need to dwell!

shall rest upon him,
the spirit of wisdom
and understanding,
the spirit of counsel and might,
the spirit of knowledge
and of the fear of the Lord;

When Light Enters In ~
When you have faith,
Light enters in
when you have Light
you’ll have peace within.
When you have trust,
the Word will guide
when you’re Spirit lead
in God you’ll abide
When you have Truth,
you will find the Way
when the Life you follow
in the Word you’ll stay.
When understanding,
is something you need
the Word will clarify
just how to proceed.
When faith is released,
it ushers in the Light
releasing in you . . .
God’s power and might!

In Your Light ~
Lord, Your Word is the lamp,
that guides us along the way
the Light in the darkness
that begins with each new day.
A purpose You have planned,
for every one of our steps
if only we would just believe
and follow Your concepts.
You know the path we must take,
the way in which we should go
You have gone out before us
and the way You want to show.
Sometimes we talk the talk,
and we say we follow after You
but, if the truth were to be told
it is not always what we do.
For we are all born of sin,
and there is nothing we can do
the only way to walk the talk
is hand in hand with You.
I know alone we are nothing,
and we’ll surely lose our way
unless we rise in Your Light
and pray for guidance every day!

The Reason for My Hope
I believe in God,
in all of His glorious creation
I believe He made the heavens
and the earth's foundation.I believe that man,
came from but dust
I believe it's God's image
He puts into all of us.I believe that Satan,
is the cause for our fallen state
I believe it's still his lies
he uses on us to trap and bait.I believe that man's heart,
has always been cold and callous
I believe it's full of deceit
filled with ungodly malice.I believe in Jesus,
God's only begotten Son
I believe He died and rose again
for the sins of everyone.I believe in redemption,
from our wicked, evil ways
I believe it's the blood of the Lamb
that washes our sins away.I believe in God's love,
I believe in His grace
I believe one day
God's judgement all will face.I believe in Heaven,
I also believe in hell . . .
I believe for eternity it's where
the unsaved will dwell.I believe in the hope,
Jesus imparts in me
I believe all can be saved

I will not be shaken,
nothing can rattle me
not even my own death
will take me, Lord from Thee.I will not tremble,

even if I'm all alone
