Proverbs 15:13

Life Untroubled ~

Jesus never promised,
life would be easy . .
nor things would be
carefree and breezy.

Instead He said we’d have,
tests and tribulation
while living in this world
we’d undergo frustration.

Jesus never promised,
life on earth would be just
nor how its wicked ways
on us wouldn’t be thrust.

Instead He said as we made,
our earthly journey here
to claim in Him our victory
and to be of good cheer.

Jesus never promised,
life would be untroubled
He said He’d give us peace
so not to be befuddled!

Thankful Everyday ~

We don’t need a special day,
to show how we’re thankful
for every day to God . . .
we need to be grateful.

We can come together,
any time of the year
and share the real cause
for our heart’s good cheer.

We can give our thanks,
no matter the season
a special holiday
needn’t be the only reason.

We can enter into,
the gates of thanksgiving
anytime, anywhere
without a single misgiving.

For, God doesn’t care,
when or how we show . . .
our thankfulness to Him
He just wants to know!

God’s Gift of Peace ~

God’s gift of peace,
brings the heart cheer
for it knows eternity
is drawing near.

Though we are flanked,
with disorder and strife
Jesus promised to us
His strength for this life.

God’s gift of Peace,
overcomes our fears
with the assurance
of no more pain or tears.

Through we’re entrenched,
with anguish and despair
Jesus promised one day
we’d meet Him in the air.

God’s gift of peace,
brings a calm joyfulness
for Jesus has overcome . . .
this world’s turbulence!

The Joy Of The Season ~

This season may your joy,
be seen and heard
may your eternal hope
in others be stirred.

May you offer to all,
peace and good cheer
may your delight
be made loud and clear.

This season may your joy,
cause you jubilation
may you share with all
God’s gift of salvation.

May you be filled,
with gladness and mirth
may you tell everyone
all about Jesus’ birth.

This season may your joy,
by all be observed . . .
may your elation
not be at all reserved!

Sticky Note From God ~03.28.19~

Jesus Will Console You ~

When heavy on your heart,
is your every care . . .
as they become too much
for you alone to bear.

Know Jesus will bring you,
comfort and relief
and console you through
all that’s causing your grief.

When hefty on your mind,
are worrisome thoughts
as they set out to bind
your faith into knots.

Know Jesus will bring you,
great comfort and good cheer
as He consoles you through
all you’ve come to fear.

When heavy and hefty,
are your problems and cares
know Jesus consolation
will lift you from your despair!
