Strength for The Asking ~

In times of trouble,
remember Jesus is there
strength for the asking
hope for every care.

All the fears you have,
He will cause to cease
beneath the endless worry
lays a bounty of His peace.

His mercy and His grace,
are bestowed upon us all
He inclines His loving ear
to each distressing call.

His eyes are always on us,
He hears our every prayer
for He has made a promise
our burdens He would bear.

There’s no need to doubt,
put your anxiousness aside
rest in the knowledge
all your needs He’ll provide.

In times of trouble,
in times of pain and sorrow
He is our strength for the day
our hope for each tomorrow!

When Jesus Reigns!

When the cares of my heart are many,
when they bog me down with fear
I look to Jesus for comfort
and His love, brings my spirit cheer.

When the worries of my soul are many,
when they take their grip on me
I look to God’s Word for comfort
and His grace, is all I see.

When the anxieties of my mind are many,
when they take from me my peace
I look to the Holy Spirit for comfort
and His calm, gives my thoughts release.

When the woes of the world get to me,
when they dredge up the worst of mankind
I look to the throne up in heaven . . .
and know all things ~ God has designed.

When His Kingdom appears on earth,
when Jesus comes to rule and to reign
I know He will dry every tear
and He put an end to all of this pain!
