Breaking The Chain of Pain ~
Living in the past,
is so easy to do . . .
it’s not hard to recall
the bad things done to you.
Letting go is not so simple,
there’s no effort in hanging on
and to forget the past images
takes an awful lot of brawn.
So, we live with the despair,
the heartaches and the pain
and the peace God promised
our misery will only drain.
It’s not until we come,
to a place where we forgive
that we find the tranquility
in which God wants us to live.
So, if you are in the shackles,
which bind you to the past
let Jesus release your burden
and you’ll be free at last!

Get God Involved ~
So often we have problems,
we try to fix alone . . .
when what we should do
is take them to the throne.
We know that in God,
we need to place our trust
but when troubles come
this doesn’t resonate in us.
So we think we’ve the power,
our worries we can overcome
and doing things ourselves
becomes the rule of thumb.
We know Jesus said,
our burden’s He would bear
and instead of letting go
we hold on to our care.
We set out our anchor,
in the sea of faithlessness
making for ourselves
an even bigger mess.
So often we have problems,
alone we try to resolve . . .
when we should be asking
for God to get involved!

God’s Got This ~
God’s got this,
He has a handle on it
and I know to me . .
it’ll be a benefit.
I know better than,
to do this on my own
for I know if I did . . .
I’d complain and moan.
God’s got this,
I’ve given it to Him . . .
even though right now
things are looking grim.
He will make something,
beautiful out of this . . .
if I get in His way
His blessing I will miss.
God’s got this,
it’s entirely in His hand
and one day this too . . .
I will come to understand!

Our Burden Bearer ~
I got me many worries,
an awful lot of cares
but, on my soul . . .
they don’t wear and tear.
When fears come my way,
I simply toss them aside
for, in my mind . . .
I don’t allow them to reside.
Trials may consume me,
fiery ones leap and bound
but, in my spirit . . .
they don’t stay around.
When I’m facing Satan,
I lose not one single hair
for, in my heart . . .
I don’t let His tactics scare.
I got me many concerns,
that could cause me terror
but, I give my every worry . . .
to my Burden Bearer!

My Burden Bearer ~
I got me many worries,
an awful lot of cares
but on my soul
they don’t wear and tear.
Problems that come my way,
I simply toss aside
in my mind
I don’t let them reside.
When I’m in a predicament,
I lose not one single hair
on my heart
they don’t give me a scare.
Everything that bothers me,
I give to my Burden Bearer
for, Jesus promised me . . .
He’d be my trouble sharer!

Our Burden Bearer ~
Lord, our burden bearer,
take from us our care
take away the heaviness
our tired hearts wear.
Take from us our weariness,
take from us our trouble
take away the listlessness
our tired souls battle.
Take from us our load,
take from us the heavy weight
take away the problems
on our tired minds that grate.
Take from us our pain,
take from us the deep ache
take away all the sorrow
and heal our heartbreak!

I believe in God,
in all of His glorious creation
I believe He made the heavens
and the earth's foundation.I believe that man,

is the cause for our fallen state
I believe it's still his lies
he uses on us to trap and bait.I believe that man's heart,
