Throughout history,
God had a plan . . .
about how He could save
all of man.
So, He’s appeared to Moses,
in a burning bush
and in Elijah He was
that whispering, small hush.
He gave men dreams,
and many visions too
even a donkey talked
to get His Word through.
But man’s heart was like stone,
and wouldn’t heed to His way
and He knew like sheep
they had all gone astray.
So God became silent,
for over four-hundred years
what He was up to . . .
wasn’t meant for our ears.
Then He sent His Son,
one Christmas morn
and to the whole world
a Savior was born.
The Word became flesh,
and lived amongst us
and taught all who’d listen
how in His Father to trust.
He talked about sin,
repentance and forgiveness
He talked about His Fathers
mercy, grace and goodness.
His message was clear,
lives He could transform
if to the world ways
they would not conform.
And now two-thousand years,
have come and gone
but, the miracle of CHRISTmas
still today lives on.
For God had a plan,
right from the start
and it’s never to late to ask . . .
Jesus into your heart!
~~~~~~~~
“For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
