A simple, easy joy,
a feeling full of bliss
an elation that I feel
a wonder not to miss.
A simple, calming feeling,
a happiness inside me
a serenity deep within
a heart full of glee.
A simple, warming feeling,
a joyousness all around
a delight in every way
a tranquility to be found.
A simple, lulling peace,
a relaxing quiet quelling
a silence filled with hope
a pleasureful feeling.
A simple, easy joy,
a feeling like no other kind
a gladness when God’s love
fills my heart and mind!

Psalm 16:11

in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures
for evermore.

An apple in God’s eye,
to Him I am a treasure
He loves me with a love
that I cannot measure.
Precious in His sight,
more valuable than gold
on my soul He keeps
an everlasting hold.
Wonderful things for me,
my Father has in store
when Jesus I finally meet
upon heaven’s shore.
Peace everlasting,
bliss like none I’ve known
one day all His glory
on me will be shone.
An apple in God’s eye,
precious in His sight
more valuable than gold
much to my delight!

What can steal my joy,
who can take it away?
no, not chaos nor Satan
will lift it from me today.
Not pain, or sickness,
can rob the joy I feel
no, not even the grave
can my gladness steal.
Nor can stress or strife,
cause my joy to tarnish
no problem or worry
will make my joy vanish.
No hurt or heartache,
can embezzle out of me
the bliss I will feel
when Jesus I finally see.
Nothing can steal my joy,
nobody can take it away
not even grief or sorrow
will cause my joy to decay!

This CHRISTmas . . .
I wish you a merry day
with family and close friends
whether near or far away.
I wish you true happiness,
a day filled with sheer delight
a time to snuggle closely
by the warming fire light.
I wish you contentment,
a heart full of gladness
a soul filled with glee
and of cheerfulness.
I wish you true peace,
a home filled with tranquility
surrounded in the perfect love
of God’s amazing serenity.
But mostly I wish you joy,
lasting all the year through
so the light of your salvation
will reflect inside of you!

If today I were to meet Jesus,
and my life here came to an end
I would be so excited
to finally meet my eternal Friend.
I would run up to Him,
and look into His face
I would tell Him I’m so thankful
for His endless supply of grace.
I would drop down to my knees,
and worship my everlasting King
I would shout hallelujah . . .
and my praises I would sing.
I would leap and jump with joy,
as soon as my feet hit the floor
I would be forever grateful
He opened to me heaven’s door.
If today I were to meet Jesus,
and I were to see my eternal Friend
I know that I would be in paradise
and my bliss would never end.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
“For the Lord himself shall descend from
heaven with a shout, with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of God: and
the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds, to
meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever
be with the Lord.”
