God Given Peace ~
God gave me peace,
when I had nearly none . . .
He gave it to me
through His beloved Son.
Once I accepted,
Jesus as my Savior
my heart became full
of His grace and favor.
God gave me hope,
when I had mostly nothing . . .
He gave me faith
filled with truthful trusting.
Once I received,
His gift of salvation
I knew right then
I was a new creation.
God gave me peace,
when the old things passed
He gave me hope
with a belief steadfast!

Now the Lord of peace himself
give you peace always by all means.
The Lord be with you all.
Therefore if any man be in Christ,
he is a new creature: old things
are passed away; behold,

Pressure Cooker Faith ~
Pressure cooker faith,
always in a hurry . . .
often blows a gasket
in its frenzy flurry.
Frantic and strained,
always under duress
pressure cooker faith
holds inside a lot stress.
Pressure cooker faith,
full of nervousness
bursting at the seams
in the stew anxiousness.
Strives so very hard,
to control its composure
pressure cooker faith
can’t help but boiler over.
Pressure cooker faith,
always ready to blow
needs inside instead . . .
God’s peace to flow!

May You Be At Peace ~
May you be at peace,
all times, in every way
may you take heart knowing
God sends new mercies each day.
May you be anxious for naught,
nor about one single thing
may you feel the calming
only a Savior can bring.
May your mind be fixed,
on a God worth trusting
may you find your tranquility
in things everlasting.
May you lie down and sleep,
with dreams of green pastures
may you find peace

The Perfect Peace of Jesus ~
In all things,
you can seek and receive
God’s quiet calm
if you trust and believe.
All you need to do,
is to ask
and in Jesus’ peace
you will bask.
In every way,
you can find
peace for both
heart and mind.
All you have to do,
is to pray
and Jesus’ peace
He’ll send your way.
It doesn’t matter,
where you are
Jesus’ perfect peace
is never very far!

Peace Unexpected ~
God gives to me,
peace unexpected
whenever His ways
I have respected.
A peace that calms,
my anxious soul
one guaranteed
to ease and console.
God gives to me,
peace surpassing
with the promise . . .
it’ll be everlasting.
A peace so unreal,
it’s out of this world
the kind only God
is able to unfurl.
God gives to me,
peace when I need it
whenever to His ways
I willingly commit!

Peace In Abundance ~
May the peace of God,
be our soul’s compass
may it lead us to find
in Him true oneness.
May His peace guide,
our thoughts and minds
may it direct us
so still waters we’ll find.
May the peace of God,
helps us to embrace
the scope and the depth
of His mercy and grace.
May the peace He embodies,
embody all of us too
wherever we may go
whatever we might do.
May the love of God,
we all encompass . . .
so we may experience
His peace in abundance!

Taking It To Jesus ~
Whenever I’m unhappy,
feeling down and out
I take my thoughts to Jesus
talk to Him about my doubt.
I tell Him the way is hard,
things haven’t been so easy
my heart’s frequently broken
my stomach is often queasy.
I let Him know of my cares,
the worries on my mind
how I seem to bump into . . .
difficulties of every kind.
But, then He reminds me,
He came to give me peace
though it does not mean
my troubles will ever cease.
As I turn over in my mind,
my worries and my cares
they just seem to vanish . . .
the more with Jesus I share!

The Reason for My Hope
I believe in God,
in all of His glorious creation
I believe He made the heavens
and the earth's foundation.I believe that man,
came from but dust
I believe it's God's image
He puts into all of us.I believe that Satan,
is the cause for our fallen state
I believe it's still his lies
he uses on us to trap and bait.I believe that man's heart,
has always been cold and callous
I believe it's full of deceit
filled with ungodly malice.I believe in Jesus,
God's only begotten Son
I believe He died and rose again
for the sins of everyone.I believe in redemption,
from our wicked, evil ways
I believe it's the blood of the Lamb
