God gave me peace,
when I had nearly none . . .
He gave it to me
through His beloved Son.
Once I accepted,
Jesus as my Savior
my heart became full
of His grace and favor.
God gave me hope,
when I had mostly nothing . . .
He gave me faith
filled with truthful trusting.
Once I received,
His gift of salvation
I knew right then
I was a new creation.
God gave me peace,
when the old things passed
He gave me hope
with a belief steadfast!

give you peace always by all means.
The Lord be with you all.
