God Will Use You ~

God will use you,
to testify for Him
by causing your joy
to fill to the brim.

Then your faith,
will spill right over
bringing to Him
others much closer.

God will employ you,
to do His business
by causing your hope
to be a witness.

Then your trust,
in Jesus will flow
and others the Way
you will show.

God will use you,
any way He can
to bring the lost . . .
to the Son of Man!

Dependent of God ~

If on God we’re dependent,
we’ll want to know His will
before we go do this or that
we’ll gladly remain still.

We will pray for direction,
for guidance in all things
waiting until we receive
His reverent blessings.

If on God we’re to rely,
we’ll seek His holy counsel
whatever is not of His will
we will happily cancel.

We’ll need to understand,
His plans are not our own
once we see everything
is controlled from His throne.

If on God we’re dependent,
we’ll need to be submissive
to His will for our lives . . .
we must not be dismissive!

His daily provisions

Seeking God’s face,
leads to faith and hope
offers instructions
gives grace to cope.

It leads to wisdom,
strength and renewal
it causes rejoicing
overcomes upheaval.

Seeking God’s face,

continual trust!

Give me a warm summer day,
a cool breeze on my face
and I’ll tell you all about . . .
my Father’s mercy and grace.

For when I’m basking in,
the warmth of His love
I find myself engulfed
in His peace from above.

Give me a long lazy day,
with nothing else to do
and I’ll tell you just how
Jesus making all things new.

His favor consumes me

Walking by faith,
and not on feeling
will have us on . . .
our knees kneeling.

For when we see,
joy is a choice

and not on emotion
sets the Holy Spirit’s
power into motion.

For when we discover,
no matter our worry
His strength will give us
