God Can’t Be Contained ~

God cannot be boxed-in,
He can’t be contained
you cannot control Him
His power can’t be restrained.

God cannot be confined,
He can’t be enclosed
you cannot out-wit Him
His will can’t be opposed.

God cannot be hedged-in,
He can’t be obstructed
you cannot thwart Him
His Word can’t be corrupted.

God cannot be restricted,
He can’t be curtailed
you cannot halt Him
His plans can’t be derailed.

God cannot be confined,
His power can’t be blocked
His judgements cannot  . . .
nor will they be stopped!

Man’s Plans ~

You may have plans,
you want to pursue
you may have ideas
brand spanking new.

But God’s purposes,
are the ones to prevail
and His intentions
you won’t be able to derail.

You may have a vision,
you want to maintain
you may have dreams
you want to attain.

But God’s designs,
cannot be thwarted
His will for your life
cannot be aborted.

You may have plans,
but only God will decide
the steps you will take
when He is your guide!

Be patient with God,
He knows what He’s doing
sometimes to our prayers
He takes His time moving.

Be patient with God,
enjoy the time waiting
for the answers to our prayers
He’s carefully delegating.

Be patient with God,
He is working out His plan
you will need a lot of faith
to fill in the time span.

Be patient with God,
give Him the time He needs
not all of His answers
come at rapid speeds.

Be patient with God,
trust Him and be still
He’s working out for you
what is His perfect will.

Be patient with God,
your times are in His hands
and for you He is working on
His awesome, amazing plans!

in God above.

God Knows Our Potential ~

God knows our potential,
before we even do
to our capabilities
He has a pristine view.

God sees our weakness,
He knows our every fear
He understands we need
the way to be made clear.

God sees our strengths,
He knows our abilities
He has eternal insight
into all our possibilities.

God sees our doubt,
He knows we’re human
He knows we need His might
to get us up and movin’.

God knows our potential,
He sees what we’re made of
He knows all we need is . . .
His guidance from above!

Be Wary ~

The wilderness can be,
a frightening place
unless we have a sufficient
supply of God’s grace.

For in the wilderness,
we will be tested
and just like Jesus
we too, will be tempted.

When we’re in a place,
we don’t want to be
when alone with danger
we need to get on our knees.

We need to draw near,
to God in prayer
for He knows our adversary
is with us out there.

The wilderness can be,
lonely and scary
and to satan’s tricks
we must be wary!

A critical spirit,
fights and bickers
you can see it in those
who are nit-pickers.

They’re known to be,
quite quarrelsome
to other’s they are
more than irksome.

A critical spirit,
can be harsh and cruel
their tongues are always
in some kind of duel.

They are selfish,
it’s their way or none
they do not care
who they hurt or shun.

A critical spirit,
can be transformed
when to God’s love
it is conformed!
