By God’s Grace ~
Sometimes life . . .
can be so unfair
and we anguish over
the depth of our despair.
We become disoriented,
with God’s plans for us
forgetting why we even
in Him place our trust.
Sometimes life . . .
throws us a curve ball
making us wonder
if there’s a God at all.
We become disillusioned,
about God’s will for us
ignoring the fact He is
always fair and just.
Sometimes life . . .
it just too hard to face
but, we who keep trusting
do so by God’s grace!

Another Year is Here ~
Another year is here,
I’m leaving the last behind
to remembering the bad
I am going to decline.
Instead I’ll focus on,
all the many blessings
God sent my way
to keep me from stressing.
I’ll take them with me,
into the New Year
and when I get depressed
they’ll bring my heart cheer.
I’ll keep my eyes on,
any new ones that He sends
and count each blessed one
right till the New Year ends
Another year is here,
the past one I am leaving
I’m starting this one out . . .
God trusting and believing!

A Place Called Hard ~
Lord, I have me a mountain,
I need You to remove
I have me a situation
only You can improve.
I got me a dilemma,
that needs to be resolved
I have me a problem
I need You to be involved.
Lord, I have me a river,
it’s as wide as it is deep
I have me a complication
that I don’t want to keep.
ย I have a clear view,
of the storm that’s ahead
I have me an idea
it’s going to be widespread.
Lord, I’m between a rock,
and a placeย called hard
I am going to need You
to be my safeguard!

Fused ~
Iโve not always understood,
the path of pain God took me on
but, I am so very grateful
for it led me straight to His Son.
For, when my heart was troubled,
and my mind was confused
I learn to lean on my Savior
and now the two of us are fused.
When my life delivered me,
so many worldly cares . . .
I found I could release them
onto Jesus with my prayers.
Now the faith I have in my Lord,
cannot ever be shaken
for, He has proven to me . . .
Heโd never leave me forsaken!
