Friendship ~

God sent me your friendship,
for He knew that I would need
someone just like you . . .
who’s willing to guide and lead.

You’ve shown me His grace,
by being loving and kind
a friendship such as ours
is a very precious find.

When we are not together,
my thoughts turn to you
and I thank the dear Lord
for all the things you do.

We laugh and we pray,
we giggle and we weep
we’ve found that the two of us
make up a flock of His sheep.

Friendships like the one we have,
now-a-days are so very rare
and the reason we’re so close
is because Jesus we can share.

So thank you my sweet friend,
for being there for me . . .
you have opened up my heart
to what true friendship outta be!

The Waters of Faith ~

Faith is like a stream,
it has its ups and downs
but, when you trust in Jesus
it can turn your life around.

One day it may rise,
the next day it may fall
but, every day it’s for certain
on Jesus, you can always call.

Faith is like an ocean,
it comes and goes in waves
but, when anchored unto Jesus
from the raging tide, it saves.

Sometimes it is powerful,
other times it ebbs in and out
but, when it’s secure in Jesus
it will rise above your doubt.

Faith is like a river,
it can be quiet or rumbling
but, when you hold on to Jesus
you’ll walk without stumbling.

It may be dry one day,
but, it never will cease to flow
for, when you trust in Jesus
your faith will only grow!
