Focus On Jesus ~
Some days good thoughts,
are hard to keep
sometimes it’s not easy
not to let the bad ones creep.
But, those who stay,
focused on the Lord
peace in their minds
will become shored.
Some days just crush,
our spirit’s into shards
sometimes it’s impossible
our hearts to guard.
But those who remain,
on the Lord centered
peace in their souls
will keep them sheltered.
Some days tranquility,
seems unobtainable . . .
but, those who focus on Jesus
will have peace unexplainable!

“And the peace of God,
which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts
and minds through Christ Jesus.

Pressurized ~
Feeling the pressure,
from your peers
no matter your age
or number of years?
Well, you won’t collapse,
under the pressure
if you keep your eyes on
your heavenly treasure.
Being influenced,
to follow the crowd
where anything goes
everything is allowed?
Well, you needn’t fold,
under the pressure
if you go to your Bible
for a daily refresher.
Being criticized,
for how you believe
because worldly views
you refuse to receive?
Well don’t you give in,
no matter the pressure
know your faith in God
brings Him pleasure.
Being mocked,
teased and made fun of
because you rather follow
the Light from above?
Well don’t you cave in,
nor be conformed . . .
instead let your mind
in God be transformed!
~~~~~~~
“And be not conformed
to this world:
but be ye transformed
by the renewing
of your mind,
that ye may prove what is
that good, and acceptable,
and perfect, will of God.”
Peace Perfectly ~
If we’re to have peace,
in our daily life . . .
we need to stay fixed
on God not our strife.
For, hearts that are stayed,
on God’s tranquility
are the hearts trusting Him
in all totality.
If we’re to have,
peace perfectly
our minds must seek
Him thirstily.
For minds that are focused,
on God’s serenity
are the minds that believe
in Him entirely.
If we want to have peace,
our eyes need to be
steady on God . . .
not on the things we see!
“Thou wilt keep him
in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed
on thee: because he
trusteth in thee.
