Ear’s Attentive ~

My ears are attentive,
I listen until I hear
God’s words of wisdom
come in loud and clear.

My mind is intent,
to learn and to know
how tomorrow I’ll reap
what today I sow.

My heart I incline,
to take it all in
so I may be able

My soul I guard,
I make it aware

Today we need to defeat,
satan and his clan
we need to take back
from him our land.

we need to treat him to

satan at his war
we need to let him know
with us he won’t get far.

We need to take back,
in God we trust . . .
we need to make known
he can’t brainwash us.

Today we need to defeat,

Look At Lot’s Wife ~

Don’t be entrapped,
by worldly things . . .
don’t get caught up
in what wealth brings.

Life On The Battlefield ~

Life on the battlefield,
is no easy task . . .
for our daily strength
God we need to ask.

His Word will equip us,
so we can have victory
otherwise our lives
will be full of misery.

For our enemy is evil,
his tactics even worse
they are diabolical
corrupt and perverse.

We’ll need to be ready,
to fight the wickedness
as our enemy is known
for his ruthlessness.

Life in the faithful fight,
is no easy one . . .
but with the power of God

Abiding In These Last Times ~

Abiding in these last times,
takes walking in the Light
so to be able to see . . .
all the evil forces we fight.

but, if you submit and resist him

Guarding Your Heart ~

Guarding your heart,
is a daily must . . .
and the Holy Spirit
you’ll need to trust.

For He’ll alert you to,

Preparing your heart,

the cares it’ll bring.

For a heart ready,

Satan Is Like A Spider ~

Satan is like a spider,
who spins a web silken
in hopes of capturing
any of God’s children.

He stealthily awaits,
for his poor clueless prey
so into his sticky trap
he can cunningly sway.

His legs are like soldiers,
they are deft and skillful
at keeping you enmeshed
in doing what is sinful.

So subtle and clever he is,
you won’t see the snare
until he has you trapped
once inside of there.

Satan is like a spider,
who spins a web of lies
he doesn’t care just who . . .
in his web of evil dies!

Lord, keep my mind,
keep it secured
into satan’s traps
let it not be lured.

When satan whispers,
calmly in your ear
God’s has left you
see, He’s not here.

Don’t you indulge,
in this wily deceit
for God promised
to be your retreat.

When satan wails,
loudly in your ear

God does not hear.

in this cunning lie
for God listens to
your every cry.

Escaping Satan’s Traps ~

The only way,
satan to escape
is to not get caught
in his sticky tape.

For, he will lure you,
with his tacky lies
so into his snare
you’ll land just like flies.

Once you are caught,
in his gummy muck
you will find from him
it’s hard to get unstuck.

For, he won’t let go,
of his hold on you
for his grip hardens
just like quick drying glue.

The only way,
satan to escape . . .
is in your Bible
to stay in shape!

Jesus To The Rescue ~

Lord, today I’m feeling,
a little off course
like a ship without . . .
a navigation source.

I feel like I’m drifting,
in a sea of doubt
and I need Your guidance
to find my way out.

Things are a little foggy,
my head is feeling light
and these waves of fear
I’ll need Your help to fight.

I feel I’ll soon get caught,
like a fish on a hook
for satan’s traps and snares
are everywhere I look.

to come and rescue me!

Satan’s Tackle Box ~

A peek into Satan’s tackle box,
should give you the shudders . . .
for the lures he uses come
straight out of hell’s gutters.

He casts out the snare of pride,
when God tells us to wait
for he knows our inflated egos
are so easy for him to bait.

He loves to entice us,
with the bait of envy and greed
for he knows with our possessions
we are not willing to concede.

He draws from his box of lures,
the most treacherous bait of all . . .
wolves in sheep clothing
in hopes, all will heed their call.

He wants to entice all he can,
with tolerance for immorality
for he knows we use God’s love
to endorse a lenient rationality.

Yes, a peek into Satan’s tackle box,
should make every Christian run away
for the deception that he uses . . .
has already caused many to go astray!
