When You’re Delighted ~
When you’re delighted,
to walk in God’s ways
that’s the time you’ll have
more peaceful days.
When you’re committed,
to seeking God first
that’s the time after Him
you genuinely thirst.
When you give God,
what your heart desires
that’s the time you’re doing
just what He requires.
When you trust God,
for everything
that’s the time you’ll see
each blessing He brings.
When in God’s ways
you’re truly delighted
that’s the time to be
joyfully excited!

Stillness In The Storms ~
The Lord wants us,
in the storm to be still
He wants us to know
for us, this is His will.
He wants us to remain,
quiet on the inside
when every thing else
is troubled on the outside.
He wants us to know,
the battle is His to fight
He wants us to seek
the refuge of His might.
He wants us to have,
peace and tranquility
when all else around us
is full of anxiety.
The Lord wants us,
to have a calm soul
He wants us to know
He’s the One in control!

In My Golden Years ~
In my golden years,
my faith is mightier
my hope grows steadier
my trust gets sturdier.
The body gets weaker,
the mind is foggier
the memory grows poorer
the recollection’s fewer.
My beliefs root deeper,
my strength gets stronger
my doubts move further
my fears get lesser.
The eyes get dimmer,
the knees are creakier
the spine gets stiffer
the muscles softer.
God gets bigger,
the world gets smaller
the Lord grows nearer
my worries calmer.
In my golden years,
I am more aware . . .
God’s still concerned
about my welfare!

Just One ~
If everyone would bring,
back just one . . .
there would be more sheep
returning to the Son.
If for just one,
everyone would pray
there would be more sheep
on the narrow way.
If for just one,
everyone would go after
there would be more sheep
in heaven’s hereafter.
If for just one,
everyone would pursue
there would be more sheep
returning God to You.
If everyone would bring,
back to Jesus just one . . .
there would less sheep
lost and on the run!

With All of My Heart and Soul ~
Lord may I love You,
forever to You, may I cleave
may my heart and soul
from Your ways never leave.
May my heart obey You,
diligently may I conform
may my love for You
never grow lukewarm.
May I always trust You,
and the power of Your might
may I draw all of my strength
from the greatness of Your light.
May I remain faithful,
may the joy of my salvation
cause me to be full of hope
filled with peaceful jubilation.
Lord, with all my heart and soul,
I love You more each day . . .
may You continue to guide me
to walk in all your ways!

A Brand New Day ~
A brand new day,
is on the rise . . .
God’s beauty unfolding
right before my eyes.
Oh, what splendor,
oh, such a delight
seeing the dawning
of morn’s early light.
Taking in the warmth,
soaking up each ray
bathing in the glory
God has for me today.
Sunshiny sparkles,
illuminating the dew
drops of God’s mercy shimmer
“Child, I love you.”
A brand new day,
God’s compassion fails not
great is His faithfulness
glitters my morning thought!

From The Beginning ~
From the beginning,
Emmanuel’s been with us
never to forsake those
that believe and trust.
He is Abba Father,
our protector and lover
He is El -Olam
our God that is forever.
He is Jehovah-Rapha,
who heals and mends
He is Jehovah-Jireh
who our daily needs sends.
He is Jehovah-Mekoddishkem,
our Holy Sanctifier
He is Jehovah-Hoseenu
all of creation’s Maker
He is Jehovah-Raah,
our guiding Shepherd
He is Jehovah-Nissi
our victory banner.
He is El-Elyon,
who controls all things
He is Jehovah-Shalom
peace to the world He brings.
He is our Everlasting Father,
full of mercy and favor
He is Christ Jesus
our Lord and Savior.
To the end of time,
God’s been here with us
Jehovah- Tskidkenu
the God of righteousness!

God Cares for You ~
Heavenly Father,
hear my prayer
so many needing
to know You care.
Give to them,
peace of mind
may Your will
they come to find.

from You away.

a heart revival

The Reason for My Hope
I believe in God,
in all of His glorious creation
I believe He made the heavens
and the earth's foundation.I believe that man,
came from but dust
I believe it's God's image
He puts into all of us.I believe that Satan,
is the cause for our fallen state
I believe it's still his lies
he uses on us to trap and bait.I believe that man's heart,
has always been cold and callous
I believe it's full of deceit
filled with ungodly malice.I believe in Jesus,
God's only begotten Son
I believe He died and rose again
for the sins of everyone.I believe in redemption,
from our wicked, evil ways
I believe it's the blood of the Lamb
