Dancing With the Wolves ~

dancing-with-the-wolves-christian-poetry-by-deborah-ann

So many today,
dancing with the wolves
so many are following
their slippery hooves.

So many today,
are deceivingly mislead
so many aren’t being
the truth, anymore fed.

So many today,
are living in the darkness
so many aren’t looking
for Christ and His likeness.

So many today,
hearing errant teachings
so many don’t discern
the lies they’re preaching.

So many today,
with wolves are dancing
so many can’t spot . . .
danger at first glancing!

Matthew 7:15

“Beware of false prophets,
which come to you in
sheep’s clothing,
but inwardly they are
ravening wolves.”

Faith Fortified ~

faith-fortified-christian-poetry-by-deborah-ann

Lord, let me obtain,
faith that is greater
give to me the kind
not able to waiver.

Let it be strong,
mighty and firm
so when it’s tested
I will not squirm.

Lord, let me acquire,
faith, mountain moving
take this mustard seed
and keep it growing.

Let it take root,
deep in my soul
so when it’s tried
I will not fold.

Lord, may my faith,
be in You fortified
so when tested or tried
I’ll not be horrified!

unto the Lord,
Increase our faith.”

Heaven Is Surreal ~

heaven-is-surreal-christian-poetry-by-deborah-ann

Heaven is going to be,
awesome and surreal
for it will be a place
peacefully ideal.

It will be in Heaven,
from burdens we’ll be free
it’ll be our true happy place
full of laughter and glee.

Heaven will be a place,
where all will be healed
it is where God’s glory
will be fully revealed.

It will be in Heaven,
from our labors we’ll rest
it’ll be a place of joy
for those once oppressed.

Heaven is going to be,
filled with happiness
life will be never-ending
in the place of gladness!

1 Corinthians 2:9

Eye hath not seen,
nor ear heard,
neither have entered
into the heart of man,
the things which God
hath prepared for them
that love him.”

God Is Our Shelter ~

god-shelters-us-christian-poetry-by-deborah-ann

God is our shelter,
in the storms of stress
He brings comfort
to us in our duress.

God is our shelter,
in the storms of sorrow
He gives us the joy
to face the morrow.

God is our shelter,
in the storms of fear
He brings peace
by drawing to us near.

God is our shelter,
in the storms of grief
He gives us strength
brings our hearts relief.

God is our shelter,
in all the storms of life
He brings the calm
in the midst of our strife!

There’s Nothing God Can’t Do ~

therss-nothing-too-hard-for-god-christian-poetry-by-deborah-ann

There is nothing too hard,
for God to do . . .
there isn’t anything
He can’t perform  for you.

There isn’t a place too tight,
God can’t get you out of
there isn’t a problem so deep
He can’t help you rise above.

There isn’t a relationship,
God can’t save and heal
there isn’t a broken heart
He can’t make again to feel.

There isn’t a single fear,
God can’t make go away
there isn’t one little doubt
He can’t begin to sway.

There isn’t a spiritual crisis,
God can’t alleviate
there isn’t a physical issue
He can’t regenerate.

Nothing is too hard for God,
there’s not anything He can’t do
all He needs to have . . .
is faith and trust from you!

Genesis 18:14

“Is any thing too hard for the Lord?
At the time appointed I will return
unto thee, according to the time
of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

In God’s Training Room ~

in-gods-training-room-christian-poetry-by-deborah-ann

In God’s training room,
there’s a lot for us to learn
for, He wants to teach us
He’s with us at every turn.

We wrestle with the pain,
weep long into the night
so God can show us
the joy in His morning light.

We confront our sorrow,
the source of our fears
so God can collect for us
in His bottle all our tears.

We struggle with our past,
we scramble with its strife
so God can help us see
the temperance of this life.

In God’s training room,
He’s teaching us to know
all thing work for good
to them who love Him so!

work together for good
to them that love God,
to them who are the called
according to his purpose.”

Marc Minter

Jesus is the well of the living water, the Holy Spirit.

“It was the last and most important day of the Feast. Jesus stood up and spoke in a loud voice. He said, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Does anyone believe in me? Then, just as Scripture says, streams of living water will flow from inside him." When he said this, he meant the Holy Spirit. Those who believed in Jesus would receive the Spirit later. Up to that time, the Spirit had not been given. This was because Jesus had not yet received glory.” ‭‭(John‬ ‭7:37-39‬)
