Lord, turning fear into faith,
is possible to do . . .
if only we would leave
our troubles with You.
Then we would not be,
anxious or dismayed
we’d have no reason
to ever be afraid.
If we would only learn,
in You we can trust
that all of our concerns
You will take from us.
Then we would not worry,
or be full of trepidation
nor would our hearts feel
a hopeless desperation.
Lord, turning fear into faith,
we can all do . . .
but, first we must take
our every care to You!
~~~~~
” Casting all your care
upon him;
for he careth for you.”
God is totally turning my fear into faith right now, which is a total miracle, since fear has been running my life for years! He is so good and so faithful. Thank you for sharing this!
I am a control freak and I had a young African American coworker the age of my daughter taught me more about the Lord than anyone ever. We have become sisters in faith in life. She is 42 I am 61 and white. She is so special she not only talks the talk she walks it every day in every way. I spent the first year working with her waiting to see her get angry or stressed and blow a cork I had never seen anyone truly faithful.
She helped me believe , my husbands love for me helped me know someone can love you completely and know every detail of your life and not walk away. It made me know what God expects me to love him the same was and be open to his love and trust in it. I no longer wall apart when bad things happen my first thought is let me pray.
I would have never believed there was truly a faithfulness in a Christian I had never seen it .
Now I work every day to try to obtain what she has . It for me is a slow process old habits die hard but I am growing and I thank her.
I love how God uses us in any and all circumstances. How He sends people of faith into our lives to be His light and to encourage others to love and trust in Him. May your walk with God be fruitful and may He guide and lead you every step of the way!
