When A New Day Comes ~

When a new day comes,
for me to rise and greet
I cast all my worries
first thing at Jesus’ feet.

For then I can start,
the day feeling renewed
and my worldly cares
my thoughts can’t intrude.

When the alarm rings,
telling me it’s that time
I ask Jesus to help me
as out of bed I climb.

For I know without Him,
how hard it would be
if His strength wasn’t . . .
working throughout me.

When a new day comes,
before I get up and go . . .
my burdens like blankets
onto Jesus I off and throw!

Jesus Knows ~

Jesus knows what’s going on,
in your life right now . . .
He knows to get through
you are not sure just how.

But, you must trust Him,
to show you the way out
by giving to Him . . .
all your fears and doubt.

Jesus, knows that you need,
answers to your prayers
He knows you are burdened
by the weight of your cares.

But, you must give to Him,
all of your desperation
so He can set you free . . .
from your trepidation.

Jesus knows what’s happening,
He understands your needs
but, you must have the faith
for even the sparrows He feeds!

My God Cares For Me ~

My God cares for me,
He hears me when I pray
He is willing to help me
to get through the day.

So I rely on Him daily,
for His mercies plentiful
and depend on His graces
abundant and bountiful.

My God cares for me,
His Word tells me so
I can count on Him
to go wherever I go.

So I trust Him to lead me,
and to show me the way
to where His unfailing love
will keep my fears at bay.

My God cares for me,
onto Him mine I cast . . .
I trust Him to take them
from me whenever I ask!

Be Still Until ~

When waiting on the Lord,
to answer your prayer . . .
don’t become discouraged
instead rest in His care.

When seeking His response,
for your wants and needs
don’t become depressed
be at peace til He leads.

When God is quiet,
but you heart isn’t so
don’t become worried
instead let His mercy flow.

When looking for a word,
to help show the way
don’t become disheartened
but, let joy fill your day.

When waiting on the Lord,
be still until . . . .
He shows to you
what is His perfect will!

When You Are Anxious ~

When you are anxious,
burdened down with care
when you feel as if . . .
no one for you is there.

Know that Jesus,
is always here for you
to take the worry
weighing down on you.

When you are nervous,
under the dread of fear
when you feel as if . . .
peace will never near.

Know that Jesus,
will always bear for you
all the apprehensions
battering down on you.

When you are anxious,
when concern you feel
know that Jesus . . .
all your fears will still!

Jesus Cares For You ~

Jesus knows you,
every single hair
He knows all about
life’s wear and tear.

For He understands,
more than you know
and for you His grace
He wants to show.

Jesus loves you,
like no other can
His love for you
can’t be found in man.

For He gave His life,
so that you may live
once you accept Him
your sins He’ll forgive.

Jesus cares for you,
He wants to bear
all of your burdens
every single care.

For He wants you to be,
at peace internally
so that you can be . . .
with Him eternally!

give to Jesus
all of your doubt.

all your worries too
for He wants to take

do it right away

Heavy On My Mind ~

When my cares,
on me weigh . . .
that’s when to God
I kneel and pray.

For when they stay,
heavy on my mind
there is no peace
that I can find.

When my worries,
creep into my life
that’s when I cast
onto Jesus my strife.

For when they linger,
in my thoughts
they leave me weary
and oh, so fraught.

When my concerns,
weigh me down
I turn to God
for a heart sound.

For I know no other,
thing for me to do
but cast my cares . . .
Lord onto You!

Everyone Has Something ~

Everyone has something,
messing up their day
everyone has new storms
freshly blowing their way.

Everyone has problems,
throwing them off course
everyone has troubles
coming at them full force.

Everyone has dilemmas,
they need to address
everyone has anxieties
causing them to stress.

Everyone has worries,
tossing them about
everyone has concerns
they need to work out.

But, we who have Jesus,
needn’t be aghast . . .
for onto Him our cares
we can freely broadcast!

Let Jesus Fight For You ~

Jesus will fight for you,
just give Him your battle
He knows without Him
you’re weak and fragile.

All you have to do,
is pass your cares along
then wait and be still
till He makes you strong.

Jesus will fight for you,
all you have to do is ask
then all of your troubles
onto Him you must cast.

Soon you will have,
peace filling your heart
keeping your mind
from unraveling apart.

Jesus will fight for you,
on this you can be sure
for the battle is His . . .
not yours alone to endure!

Jesus Never Tires ~

Sometimes it’s hard,
to give Jesus our care
sometimes with Him
it’s difficult to share.

But, when we let go of,
our worldly concern
He will give to us
His peace in return.

Sometimes it’s not easy,
spending time praying
sometimes it feels no one
hears what your saying.

But, when we release,
what weighs on our heart
Jesus in return for it
more grace will impart.

Sometimes it’s hard,
to give Jesus our care
but, He never tires of . . .
listening when we share!

Fear’s Canvas ~

When night turns,
thoughts anxious
casting shadows
on fear’s canvas.

Turn to God,
to ease your mind
and His peace
you will find.

When night’s dread,
long fingers wrap
and your heart
it has in a trap.

Turn to God,
to release its grasp
and onto His calm
let your heart clasp.

When the night turns,
your thoughts anxious
cast them onto God . . .
and watch them vanish!

Turning Fear into Faith ~

Lord, turning fear into faith,
is possible to do . . .
if only we would leave
our troubles with You.

Then we would not be,
anxious or dismayed
we’d have no reason
to ever be afraid.

If we would only learn,
in You we can trust
that all of our concerns
You will take from us.

Then we would not worry,
or be full of trepidation
nor  would our hearts feel
a hopeless desperation.

Lord, turning fear into faith,
we can all do . . .
but, first we must take
our every care to You!

Cares Unbound ~

Some people carry,
the world’s weight
for on their shoulder
their troubles grate.

Some people worry,
about everything
for on their minds
fear twists and wrings.

Some people stress,
over everyday life
for on their hearts
grinds daily strife.

Some people suffer,
from depression
for on their souls
is guilt’s impression.

Some people carry,
their burdens around
but if  they’d turn to Jesus
their cares, He’d unbound!

Cast Your Cares Upon Jesus ~

Cast your cares upon Jesus,
direct your soul His way
give Him all your worries
find true peace for the day.

Hold and keep not a burden,
let Him ease the strain
give Him all of your fears
and His peace you will gain.

Cast your concerns upon Him,
your every want and need
to His leading and guiding
let your heart be willing to cede.

Grasp and hold onto Jesus,
let not pride get in your way
for Satan is alive and well
and wants to ruin your day.

Cast your cares upon Jesus,
is something you must do
for Jesus has promised . . .
to take your cares from you!

Care Casting ~

My cares I’m casting,
with all sureness
giving them to the Lord
with this assurance.

That all of my concerns,
He will take from me
from my every worry
He will set me free.

With confidence,
I’m placing all my trust
onto the One
who truly loves us.

My every illness,
all my pain and grief
I’m letting Jesus have
so I may have relief.

My cares I am casting,
onto Jesus with sureness
because He has given me
His caring assurance!
