This world is full of tribulation,
suffering, stress and pain
but you can be an overcomer
when in your life, Jesus reigns.
For, Jesus has already won,
His victories are yours to claim
just put you faith in His hands
and call upon His name.
He has beaten down the devil,
casted out every evil spirit
so claim your victory in Him
when Satan comes to visit.
There is not an enemy,
which Jesus has not faced
you too can rise above yours
for you’re covered in His grace.
When death comes knocking,
on your earthly door . . .
remember that your victory
is in Jesus Christ our Lord!

1 John 5:4
King James Version
“For whatsoever is born
of God overcometh the world:
and this is the victory
that overcometh the world,
even our faith.”

Your poems are a welcome blessing and so very true if we which are children of greatest father and brothers and sisters with Jesus will just allow them to carry our burdens and trails and tribulations that we suffer and go through everyday our lives would be so much more enjoyable. See I can say this but if I could actually come to grips with those words my life would be so much easier for me and my husband. Cause you see 50 years ago my life was changed for what I and most abused people would think and believe was the worst thing that could possibly happen to 7 yr old little girl. Most girls just love their earthly father so very much and are daddy’s little girl, my daughter has that kinda relationship with my husband and her father and so do our many granddaughters. Unfortunately I didn’t you see my father was the first of 8 men in my life that decided to make my life and my body their sex toy for next 9 years. So now finally after 50 yrs I and God have decided that it’s time for me to finally put all of these horrible memories that I have been trying to carry by myself where they need to be filled away in my memory. Never to forget them cause they will always be a memory can’t change that but with pray support from my church family, my husband and children they will finally be just a memory and not something that satan can continue to bring up when something tragic happens or he decides to make my life and my marriage just miserable for as long as I continue to let him. But greater is he that lives inside my heart and my soul than he who lives and directs so many people in this world. Sorry for the long post but I thank you for allowing God to use you and your words to be so comforting to me and so many more. God bless you and continue to allow him to use you in ways you probably never even thought of.

Susan I am so thankful that God used this poem to bless you 🙂
What a testimony you have and how God is delivering your from the bondage of those awful, dreadful memories. Whenever satan attacks my mind for whatever reason, whether it is the past things, the now things, or the future things I read Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
It always works to defeat satan for he hates it when we shut him out of our hearts and minds with God’s Word.
Prayers for continued victory in our Lord, Christ Jesus!

Hallelujah! This post makes me want to sing…
Victory is mine!
Victory is mine!
Victory today is mine!
I told satan to get thee behind.
Victory today is mine!
Love you much,

Singing we are overcomers, with you dear sister. When Satan comes to my door I tell him no one invited him over and then I slam it on his face! Amen and Amen. ~ Praying you are feeling much better. Love you lots ~
