Perhaps Today ~

Perhaps today . . .
my Lord will come
perhaps today I’ll see
my Lord on the cloud
coming down for me.

Perhaps today . . .
my Lord will call
perhaps today I’ll hear
the sound of His trumpet
telling me He is here.

Perhaps today . . .
my Lord will show
perhaps today I’ll meet
my Savior up in the air
oh, wouldn’t that be sweet.

Perhaps today . . .
my Lord will come
perhaps today I’ll be
with Him forever
in blissful eternity!

Slow Me Down, Lord ~

Slow me down Lord,
help me to take the time
to see You’re more important
than this life of mine.

Slow me down Lord,
sometimes I move too fast
I get so distracted to even notice
that it was You, I have passed.

Slow me down Lord,
help me to stay close to You
let me see You’re more worthy
than anything I have to do.

Slow me down Lord,
it seems I’m always on the run
and so often Your voice
I just put off and shun.

Slow me down Lord,
help me to put You first . . .
help me to see if I don’t my soul
will always hunger and thirst!
