Waiting

Be Still Until ~

When waiting on the Lord,
to answer your prayer . . .
don’t become discouraged
instead rest in His care.

When seeking His response,
for your wants and needs
don’t become depressed
be at peace til He leads.

When God is quiet,
but you heart isn’t so
don’t become worried
instead let His mercy flow.

When looking for a word,
to help show the way
don’t become disheartened
but, let joy fill your day.

When waiting on the Lord,
be still until . . . .
He shows to you
what is His perfect will!

When God Delays ~

When God delays,
give Him your praise
He has a reason
for your waiting season.

When God holds back,
don’t let your hope slack
He still hears your cry
your needs He’ll not deny.

When God withholds desires,
your trust He requires
He’ll get you out of the pit
so, don’t give up or quit.

When you have to wait,
don’t take Satan’s bait
instead sing a new song
to keep your faith strong.

When God delays,
it a growing phase . . .
He’s working out His will
so wait and be still!

I’m Waiting ~

I’m looking,
looking for the day
looking for a sign
when Jesus ~ takes me away.

Yep, I’ll be leaving,
getting me out of here
and I know that day
is so ever near.

I’m going,
no one is gonna stop me
I know it won’t be long
till that cloud I finally see.

Until then I’ll be praying,
for the soul’s of man
knowing God is doing
all that He can.

I am waiting,
for the God of my salvation
until then I’m trusting Him
no matter the duration!

Resting in the Lord ~

I’m resting,
I’m waiting on the Lord
some people say . . .
I look a little bored.

But, I’m trusting,
see how I am still
it’s because I know
it’s all about His will.

Yep, that me,
looking sweet as a lamb
Only because I know . . .
He sees me as I am.

Waiting, anticipating,
nothing to worry about
I have faith in my Lord
what is there to doubt?

God’s timing is perfect,
so I am just hanging
He’s teaching me to be still
and I’m not even panting!
