Jesus Waits For You ~
Jesus waits for you,
on His name to call
to help you up . . .
whenever you fall.
He is ready to lift,
you out of the pit
and fill you with
the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is waiting for you,
to open the door
into a life with Him
that is forevermore.
He is wanting to give,
you peace and hope
so while here on earth
you’ll be able to cope.
Jesus waits for you,
to give Him your heart
so into it He can . . .
His grace and love impart!

My God Is So Big ~
My God is so big . . .
He can conquer anything
He can turn a dry river
into a life-giving stream.
My God is so big . . .
He can carry my heavy load
He can lift from me my burdens
send them packing down the road.
My God is so big . . .
He can turn water into wine
He can bring back a lost soul
who’s fallen from His vine.
My God is so big . . .
He can do the utmost impossible
He can move the largest mountain
for nothing to Him is insolvable.
My God is so big . . .
He can part the Red Sea
He can heal the lame and sick
make blind eyes able to see.
My God is so big . . .
He can take my every fear
He can remove all my worries
for my God makes all things clear.

how big is that one of yours?

Do You Hear Jesus ~
Do you hear it,
do you hear the rapping
on the door to your heart
do you hear Jesus tapping?
Do you hear Him,
asking you to invite Him in
do you hear Him saying
I will forgive you of your sin?
Do you hear His plea,
to open up your soul
do you hear Him telling you
how He can make you whole?
Do you hear Him,
calling you to believe
do you hear Him stating
how His grace you’ll receive?
Do you hear Jesus,
do you hear Him asking
do you hear Him saying . . .
I am the Life everlasting!

At My Dining Table ~
I invited Jesus,
to break bread with me
the day I gave Him
to my heart the key.
Ever since that day,
we daily sup and dine
and He shows me how to be
a faithful branch on His vine.
Early in the mornings,
His Gospel we sit and read
and through the scriptures
I follow where He leads.
Together we dig into,
the real meat of His Word
so that apostasy
I’ll know when it’s heard.
I invited Jesus,
to sit at my dining table
and now His Word has become
for me a daily staple!

CHRISTmas is Christ ~
CHIRSTmas is Christ,
no matter what they say
it’s all about Jesus
being born on this day.
It’s not about Santa,
or reindeer on the roof
it’s not about the clatter
of their little, tiny hoofs.
CHRISTmas is Christ,
the Babe, the Son of Man
it’s all about the Savior
and God’s salvation plan.
It’s not about decorations,
trees or special lights
it’s not about the sales
or our out-of-town flights.
CHRISTmas is Christ,
the Lamb, our Hope, the Rock
it’s about the Price of Peace
and hearing Jesus knock.
It’s not about the presents,
its only about receiving one
for CHRISTmas is Christ
God’s gift to everyone!

The Key to Life ~
The key to life,
is in your hands
when the Bible
in it lands.
It opens the door,
to life, eternal
gets you up and over
sin’s every hurdle.
It holds the meaning,
to what life is about
it gives you hope
takes away the doubt.
It brings Light,
whether night or day
by shining Truth
on the Life and Way.
Jesus is the key,
to eternal life
He is the door . . .
that will end your strife!

Who’s that Knocking ~
Today while I was cleaning,
scrubbing my kitchen floor
I heard someone knocking
softy at my door.
I went to answer it,
but nobody was there . . .
I thought it was a bit strange
but, didn’t give it much care.
I went about my cleaning,
the whole house I had to do
but, soon I stopped and asked . . .
“Lord, was that you?
I heard Him say to me,
my spiritual house needs cleaning too
and it really was more important
then the housework I had to do.
Well, needless to say . . .
I left my mop on the floor
and went off to answer
the knock ~ on my hearts door!

The Day Jesus Found Me ~
Wondering and thinking . . .
where would I be?
If Jesus didn’t come
looking for me.
I would still be lost,
still roaming around
going whichever way
my sorry soul found.
Stumbling on happiness,
always ending up sad
so many heartaches
were mine to be had.
Caught up in regret,
fraught with pain
my rebellion and pride
were sin’s ugly stain.
Always looking for pity,
in spite of the shame
that is until Jesus . . .
called out my name.
Now I am loved
from the world I’m free
ever since that day . . .
Jesus came looking for me!

Ah,Yes ~
I lay my burdens,
at the door
open wide
and step inside
soon I begin to sense . . .
Peace
Tranquility
an unrelenting
Serenity
ah, yes . . .
there is also
Joy.
As I move about each room,
I roam all around
within the walls I find . . .
Faith
Trust
an everlasting
Hope
ah, yes . . .
there is also
Love.
I climb the stairs,
step by step
to the landings end
and there atop
I come upon . . .
Comfort,
Rest
a reassuring
Calm
ah, yes . . .
there is
my Lord!

My God is so big . . .

The Reason for My Hope
I believe in God,
in all of His glorious creation
I believe He made the heavens
and the earth's foundation.I believe that man,
came from but dust
I believe it's God's image
He puts into all of us.I believe that Satan,
is the cause for our fallen state
I believe it's still his lies
he uses on us to trap and bait.I believe that man's heart,
has always been cold and callous
I believe it's full of deceit
filled with ungodly malice.I believe in Jesus,
God's only begotten Son
I believe He died and rose again
for the sins of everyone.I believe in redemption,
from our wicked, evil ways
