God Sees The Real Us ~

God sees the real us,
He is able to view . . .
right inside the heart
of me and you.

He can look beyond,
what the eyes find
to know the thoughts
that hide in the mind.

God is searching for,
hearts that are gentle
where living in peace
is always central.

He glances not at,
the outside of us
but, within the soul
of those who trust.

God does not look,
at how high our stature
He’s looking to find . . .
those of a meek nature!

which is in the sight of God

1 Samuel 16:7

My Warts and All ~

I kissed me a prince,
but he turned into a toad
then he sent me packing . . .
down the lonely road.

So I went out searching,
looking for someone to love . . .
thought he’d be here on earth
instead He came from above.

With all of my ugly warts,
Jesus saw what was inside
for He discovered in me . . .
what other’s tossed aside.

He peered into my soul,
looked deep into my heart
so I took a leap of faith and found
my True Love from the start.

So if you are out there looking,
for a Prince to forever love . . .
stop chasing after all the toads
and just look to Jesus up above!

From God’s Point of View ~

Don’t waste another hour,
don’t let a minute slip by you
it’s time to look at your life
from God’s point of view.

Take a look at your values,
what you admire the most
look at all the things you have
how much you love to boast.

Take a look at your leisure time,
what with it you do . . .
take a look at the hours spent
from God’s point of view.

Take a look at your schedule,
the time you spend away
take a look at the way you think
your actions throughout the day.

Take a look at all the people,
who pal around with you
take a look at these relationships
from God’s point of view.

Now, take a look at the time,
you spend studying the Word
take a look at how you react
to the truth that you’ve heard.

Take a look at your walk of faith
how far it’s gotten you . . .
now, take a look at your heart
from God’s point of view!
