Reassure me Lord,
just where is my hope
so that in today’s world
I’ll be equipped to cope.
Remind me once again,
I’m just passing through
on my journey to spend
eternity with you.
Reassure me Lord,
just where is my home
so while on this earth
from You I’ll not roam.
Reaffirm my faith,
my trust, my belief
so that in all the chaos
I can find some relief.
Reassure me Lord,
help me to be diligent
remind me till the end . . .
to remain vigilant!
~~~~~~~~
And we desire that every one
of you do shew the same
diligence to the full assurance
of hope unto the end:
The poem’s final three words bring us daily assurance our God walks with us. May we strive daily “to remain vigilant.”
