God gave me peace,
the day you died
as into His bottle
my tears I cried.
I knew they’d be safe,
there in His care
for He knew the depth
of my despair.
God showed me grace,
the day you perished
by keeping my hope
in Him nourished.
He knew my heart,
couldn’t handle the break
without His mercy
healing the ache.
God gave me peace,
as tears I was sowing
told me His joy . . .
I’d soon be knowing!
~~~~~~~~
They that sow in tears
shall reap in joy.
