When trials blow,
me to the ground
when my cares
take me down.
Before I rise,
back to my feet
I pray to God
my needs to meet.
When storms blow,
through my door
when my worries
take me to the floor.
Before I get,
to my legs back
I pray to God
for the grace I lack.
For, in my life,
to God I’ve found
to humble myself
when I am down!
~~~~~~~~
“But he giveth more grace.
Wherefore he saith,
God resisteth the proud,
but giveth grace
unto the humble.”
How many people practice “to be humble” in this generation. Everyone has EGO and Arrogance.
So true . . . and it is something I pray for each time I leave my home!
