When Autumn comes to greet me,
God’s beauty is all I see . . .
trees once draped with green leaves
now wear their golden sleeves.
As Autumn’s days get shorter,
and the nights turn much colder
its full splendor begins to burst
and in its wonder, I’m immersed.
Autumn’s splendid grandeur,
turns me into a scenic voyeur
I find myself taking to the streets
to crush, crispy colored treats.
As Autumn breezes blow,
its like watching a ballet show
leaves spinning all around . . .
toes twirling on the ground.
Autumn paints a lovely picture,
reminding me of the scripture
it is to God ~ we must cleave
unlike the changing leaves!

“But cleave unto the Lord your God,
as ye have done unto this day.”

Mine too . . . love, love, love it. I am really dissapointed that I can’t get out this year to enjoy it more. Since I broke my foot I can’t go crush the leaves or even help pick them up 😦 so instead I sit and watch people walking by and my hubby raking leaves wishing I could go do some of the same . . . oh, well there is always next year or not! ~ Have a blessed day with Jesus ~

You’re right, this time of year is really inspiring (except for its holiday), a poet’s season and a child of God’s joy.
Thank you – you too!!
