It’s All About Believing ~
It’s not about who,
got us to the starting line
it’s about believing . . .
Jesus is the One True Vine.
It’s not about what,
we were doing before
it’s about believing . . .
Jesus came to restore.
It’s not about when,
we decided to join in
it’s about believing . . .
Jesus died for our sin.
It’s not about where,
we got the Good Word
it’s about believing . . .
in the truth we heard.
It’s not about why,
we decided to trust
it’s about believing . . .
Jesus lives inside of us.
It’s not about how,
we got into the race
it’s about believing . . .
in mercy, love and grace.
It’s not about you,
and it’s not about me
it’s about believing . . . .
in what we cannot see!

A Verse A Day ~
A Verse a day,
will keep the devil away
a Word or two
will help restore and renew.
A Scripture thought,
will help when distraught
a Bible study plan
will lead and command.
A Verse a day,
will keep fear at bay
a Word or two
will power you through.
A Scripture learned,
will help when concerned
a Bible nearby
will keep Jesus close by.
A Verse a day,
is a daily must . . .
for it will direct you
in God, to always trust!

I Hear You Lord ~
I hear You Lord,
Your voice I recognize
I’m aware of the wolves
wearing a sheep’s disguise.
I hear You Lord,
I listen for Your inflection
I know the tone they use
lacks truth and direction.
I hear You Lord,
I know its You who’s speaking
I know the false promises
the others are preaching.
I hear You Lord,
Your voice is loud and clear
I know the words others use
are not what as they appear.
I hear You Lord,
it’s only You who I’ll follow
for the voice of the others
are deceptive and hollow!

John 10:4-5
“And when he putteth forth his own sheep,
he goeth before them, and the sheep
follow him: for they know his voice.
And a stranger will they not follow,
but will flee from him: for they know
not the voice of strangers.”

Take Heart ~
Take heart,
lest you become weary
for I’ll never forsake you
though things may be dreary.
Take heart,
when troubles come your way
for I came to give you peace
by shedding light on your way.
Take heart,
when worry’s at your door
for I came to give you hope
in a new life for evermore.
Take heart,
when burdens laden you
for I will lead and guide you
on what you need to do.
Take heart,
when disappointments mount
for I came to encourage you
on Me, you can always count!

that in me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation:
but be of good cheer;
I have overcome the world.”

The Wind of God’s Spirit ~
The wind of God’s Spirit,
is constantly blowing
in the lives of believers
it’s continually flowing.
It’s powerful and mighty,
it’s character changing
in the souls of believers
it’s behavior alternating.
The wind of God’s Spirit,
is constantly reforming
in the minds of believers
it’s attitude transforming.
It’s quick and it’s strong,
it’s deep and penetrating
in the hearts of believers
it’s profound and regulating.
The wind of God’s Spirit,
blows as it pleases . . .
for it’s the very breath of God
that governs the breezes!
~~~~~~~~~~~
“The wind bloweth where it listeth,
and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh,
and whither it goeth: so is every one
that is born of the Spirit.”
A Perfect Place To Hide ~
I’ve found a perfect place,
where I can go and hide
a place where my troubles
cannot find their way inside.
It encloses me with peace,
keeps me safe and warm
a place where life’s storms
cannot cause me any harm.
This place is like rainfall,
in the middle of a drought
for it brings my heart hope
in a world that is without.
Whenever I get exhausted,
when I’m drained and beat
I eagerly go to this place
to get away from the heat.
I’ve found a perfect place,
where I can go and hide
a place of safekeeping . . .
when with Jesus I abide!
“And a man shall be as an hiding place
from the wind, and a covert from the
tempest; as rivers of water in a dry
place, as the shadow of a great
rock in a weary land.”
On This You Can Be Sure ~
Jesus heals our diseases,
on this, you can be sure
He has the power . . .
to restore and to cure.
He repairs the broken,
dries the hurtful tears
takes upon Himself . . .
the burden of our cares.
Jesus mends the pain,
relieves the soreness
He alleviates the ache
with love and tenderness.
He revives the inflected,
from sins contamination
saving every soul . . .
from eternal damnation.
Jesus heals our diseases,
He has the only cure . . .
for our spiritual sickness
on this you can be sure!
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed.”
The Comforter of My Soul ~
The Comforter of my soul,
never gets tired of my cares
He never gets fatigued by
my burdens that He bears.
He never turns me away,
when I go to Him for relief
the Comforter of my soul
understands all my grief.
The Comforter of my soul,
always makes things better
taking on my heavy load
gives His heart pleasure.
He makes things easier,
when all else is difficult
the Comforter of my soul
is always there to consult.
The Comforter of my soul,
takes on my every care
tis why I give to Him . . .
all my anxieties to bear!
