Isaiah 43:18-19

Troubled Believer ~

Troubled believer,
oh, anxious one . . .
fear and apprehension
has you on the run.

Worried about the past,
unsure of the future
the insecurities of life
you still feed and nurture.

Burdened believer,
oh, fretful one . . .
the impacts of your choices
cannot be undone.

Frustrations about today,
not sure the way to go
from your past decisions
still being tossed to and fro.

Troubled believer,
take your burdens to the cross
then in the pit of regret . . .
you will not get lost!

He will turn again,
he will have compassion
upon us; he will subdue our
iniquities; and thou wilt cast
all their sins into
the depths of the sea.

2022 New Year Prayer ~

Lord, may next year,
be one different . . .
from the distressing one
that is now current.

Make it one of peace,
not hatred and division
make it one where hope
everyone can envision.

Lord, may next year,
be one contrary . . .
to the one we now have
if You should tarry.

Make it one where we,
can put away our disputes
so we may focus on
Your many attributes.

Lord, may next year,
You do something new
may more people turn . . .
their lives over to You!

New Things God Wants To Do ~

New things in you,
God wants to do . . .
a true believer He wants
to make out of you.

He wants to take you,
where peaceful waters flow
so into eternity . . .
with Him you will go.

New things in you,
God wants to perform
so to His ways
you’ll want to conform.

Out of this world,
He wants to take you
so white, pearly gates
you may enter through.

New things in you,
God wants to do . . .
so onto streets of gold
with Him you’ll walk too!

Sticky Note to God ~01.08.21~

Isaiah 43:18-19

A New Pathway ~

Forget the past things,
leave them behind
don’t let your failures
come back to remind.

Instead forge ahead,
plow into the new
and see where God
want’s to guide you.

No matter your past,
there’s a new direction
that God has already
set for you in motion.

He has a plan brimming,
with proven solutions
a destiny filled with peace
not one full of confusion.

So commit to the new,
your future is today
forget the former things . . .
think not of yesterday!
