God’s Handiwork ~

When I look to the heavens,
I can see God craftsmanship
as the stars gather around
for their nighttime fellowship.

The lights that they provide,
twinkle and dance about
proving to me that He has
all good things worked out.

When I look to the heavens,
I can see God’s workmanship
as the sun rises in the sky
and the moon starts to dip.

I see the sunny beams,
God’s glory declaring
and into the skies above
I can’t help but staring.

When I look to the heavens,
I get all teary . . .
for I see God’s handiwork
dispel the big-bang theory!

Seeking God’s Peace ~

When I wake up,
as I start my day
I seek God’s peace
along the way.

As I set out about,
life’s winding path
I steer from the things
that’ll bring God’s wrath.

Instead I do the things,
that I know I should
and follow the road
leading to all things good.

When on my journey,
I come to a crossroad
I look for an address . . .
with a heavenly zip code.

For I know the way,
that is really narrow . . .
is riddled with satan’s . . .
fiery darts and arrows.

Each day God gives me,
to wake up to . . .
I seek His peace
in all that I do!

God of promises,

help us to believe
in You as we should.

for Your love dwells

caretaker of our needs

God has a storehouse,
filled to the brim
for all those who believe
and trust in Him.

There’s an endless supply,
of mercy and grace
awaiting those who by faith
His eternal love embrace.

God has a storehouse,
He wants to provide
all things that are good
you’ll not be denied.

It’s full of forgiveness,
hope, peace and rest
with the riches and glory
in Jesus you’ll blessed.

He wants for you to share
so other people burdens . . .
