Some times my joy,
I need to muster . . .
whenever I’m feeling
the bluster of fluster.
For, I can get so caught up,
in the world’s fallen state
that my eternal happiness
from me it starts to shake.
Sometimes my hope,
I need to summon . . .
as I start to feel
downcast and sullen.
For, I can see the darkness,
overshadowing the Light
that my eternal peace
is hard to keep in sight.
Sometimes my faith,
I need to boost and buoy . . .
and so my thoughts, Lord
I just turn over to You!
~~~~~~~~
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things
are true, whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just, whatsoever
things are pure, whatsoever things
are lovely, whatsoever things are of
good report; if there be any virtue,
and if there be any praise,
think on these things.
