Your Rapturous Love ~
Thank You Jesus,
for Your rapturous love
to me it’s like . . .
a taste of heaven above.
It anoints me with,
a hopeful tranquility
gives my faith
a buoyant stability.
Thank You Jesus,
for Your gentle ease
to me it’s like . . .
a perfumed breeze.
It refreshes me with,
a jubilant thankfulness
gives my trust
a humble gratefulness.

for being God’s sweet savour
for without Your sacrifice . . .

Renewed Each Day ~
I would have lost heart,
given up on spiritual things
I would have fainted away
from the troubles life brings.
I would have passed out,
lost my faith and my hope
I would have lost count
just thrown in the rope.
I would have sunk under,
the pressure of my fears
I would have called it quits
amidst all of my tears.
I would have been crushed,
under my heavy load
I would have gotten off
the narrow traveled road.
I would have lost heart,
if each day I wasn’t renewed
I would have given up Lord . . .
if I didn’t keep my eyes on You!

Give Us Peace Lord ~
Give peace, Lord, give us peace,
on our heavy hearts bestow
the peace that surpasses . . .
all the worries that we know.
Give peace, Lord, give us peace,
to our dreary, weary souls
give us idyllic, flawless peace
over things we can’t control.
Give peace, Lord, give us peace,
to our fidgety, fretful minds
give us staying, trusting peace
to leave our troubles behind.
Give peace, Lord, give us peace,
to our worried, wary spirits
give us lulling, calming peace
before we reach our limits.
Give peace, Lord, give us peace,
Your quiet, quelling peace impart
into our flustered, frantic lives . . .
til it saturates our restless heart!

Here I am Lord ~
Here I am Lord,
take me as I am
work inside of me
as only You can.
Do what you must,
so in You I’ll trust
do what You’ve got to
to keep me close to You.
Here I am Lord,
here is the all of me
my mind, heart and soul
I’m offering up to Thee.
Do that thing You do,
to make me apart of You
do what You need to
to keep me staying true.

coming to You as I am
for You to make me . . .
just as faithful as a lamb!

Mind Renewing ~
Mind renewing,
is a daily must
if we’re to grow
our faith and trust.
For with it comes,
a heart cleaning
rightness of spirit
and God leaning.
Mind renewing,
is an exercise
so to the world
we won’t compromise.
For it’s transforming,
temptation discerning
keeping our souls
from in hell burning.
Mind renewing,
is a daily must . . .
for it is how God
leads and guide us!

The Reason for My Hope
I believe in God,
in all of His glorious creation
I believe He made the heavens
and the earth's foundation.I believe that man,
came from but dust
I believe it's God's image
He puts into all of us.I believe that Satan,
is the cause for our fallen state
I believe it's still his lies
he uses on us to trap and bait.I believe that man's heart,
has always been cold and callous
I believe it's full of deceit
filled with ungodly malice.I believe in Jesus,
God's only begotten Son
I believe He died and rose again
for the sins of everyone.I believe in redemption,
from our wicked, evil ways
I believe it's the blood of the Lamb
that washes our sins away.I believe in God's love,
I believe in His grace
I believe one day
God's judgement all will face.I believe in Heaven,
I also believe in hell . . .
I believe for eternity it's where
the unsaved will dwell.I believe in the hope,
Jesus imparts in me
I believe all can be saved
