To draw closer to God,
we must be willing
to open our hearts
to spiritual healing.
Healing of the pain,
others inflected on us
healing of the hurt
so we can learn to trust.
To draw closer to God,
we must be open to
letting His Spirit
make all things new.
Newness of thought,
transformation of mind
letting go of the old
so peace we can find.
To draw closer to God,
we must be willing . . .
to make room in our hearts
for His Spirit’s indwelling!
~~~~~~~
“And what agreement hath the
temple of God with idols?
for ye are the temple of
the living God;
as God hath said,
I will dwell in them,
and walk in them;
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.”
Thank you Chris for blessing me with a reblog 🙂 Drawing closer to God is a key part of my day. I had to do it first thing this morning after I got up and something threw me off course. I had to put aside my pride and emotions and go right to God for comfort and peace. Once I did I got right back on track . . . God is so faithful in His promise to draw us closer to Him!
