I throw myself,
on the throne of grace
God’s mercy my soul
longs to embrace.
My trust I lay,
at Jesus feet
sinner and Savior
at last do meet.
He knows my heart,
my repentant tears
for in His books
are wandering years.
My life now follows,
His righteous ways
His Word and laws
directs my days.
To God’s glory,
my heart sings
from death eternal
His pardon brings.
One day soon,
with God I will walk
until then . . .
Jesus will be my Rock!
~~~~~
“For thou hast delivered
my soul from death:
wilt not thou deliver
my feet from falling,
that I may walk before God
in the light of the living?”
