Proverbs 8:13

What’s Wrong With People ~

Lord, what’s wrong with people,
wishing other’s dead . . .
who’s controlling the thoughts
going on in their head?

Why are they so full of hate,
disdain and antipathy
who’s is causing them to have
this bold lack of empathy?

Lord, what is wrong with people,
who have no compassion
who’s hardened their hearts
in this brazen fashion?

Why are they so unsympathetic,
hardhearted and unfeeling
who’s has a hold of their minds
that make them so uncaring?

Lord, what is wrong with people,
with nothing good to say . . . .
who’s keep them from finding
the Life, Truth and Way?

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil:
pride, and arrogancy, and the evil
way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

2 Corinthians 4:4

In whom the god of this world
hath blinded the minds of them
which believe not, lest the light
of the glorious gospel of Christ,
who is the image of God, should
shine unto them.

Godly Fear ~

It’s a good thing,
to have Godly fear
trembling is fine . . .
for it keeps God near.

Fear produces hatred,
of self-righteousness
it will help us to see
our own piousness.

Fear fills us with disgust,
for the evil things we do
it shows us what’s wrong
with the things we pursue.

Fear keeps our tongues,
from being perverted
blasphemy from our lips
it’ll keep from being blurted.

Fear keeps our hearts,
from turning rebellious
it will help us to take
God’s hate for sin serious.

It’s a good thing,
to keep God near
trembling is fine . . .
for sin we should fear!
