Sometimes when we pray,
we don’t want any delay
to our pleas we want . . .
God to answer right away.
But as the days go by,
our tears do not dry
and we start to question
oh God, oh God, why.
Our heart grows faint,
the longer we wait . . .
our prayer soon turns
into our complaint.
We grumble and we groan,
we sniffle and we moan
causing us to wonder if. . .
our prayers reach His throne.
Sometimes when we pray,
God answers with delay
to see if our faith in Him . . .
will stand fast or fall away!
~~~~~~~~~~
Watch ye, stand fast
in the faith,
quit you like men,
be strong.
