Sometimes my faith feels,
as if it’s in hibernation . . .
like it decided to take off
on some wintry vacation.
Thought I know it’s alive,
I don’t feel it growing
it’s as if the living water
in it just stopped flowing.
Sometime my faith feels,
as if it’s been frozen . . .
like it just iced over
numbing my devotion.
Though I know it’s aware,
I don’t feel the fullness
it’s as if the well of life
lost its true brilliance.
Sometimes my faith needs,
a vivid reawakening
to bring it back from its . . .
self-inflected hibernating!

And be renewed
in the spirit
of your mind;

Hmm so deep. It does feel that way at times but it has grown A LOT stronger and continues to do so daily by the renewing of my mind and the Word of God. I pray that your faith rises in the mighty name of Jesus! Receive it. Amen. Thank you LORD. ❤ lovely poem. Blessings!

Tammy, I wrote that after I looked at my prayer journal dating back about 18 years ago. I too like you have grown A LOT and I am so thankful for every test, every trail, every loss. every . . . . for these are the things that have strengthened my faith to where I am now and I know until I die I will always be growing more of it! ~ Have a grace and peace filled day with our Savior ~
