When in the middle of the night
when my worries invade me
I close my eyes and think . . ..
how heaven is going to be.
I can see so much beauty,
a light that is so bright
I couldn’t tell you whether
it was morning, noon or night.
I see no hearts in mourning,
not a single tear is falling
there’s not one soul in pain
nor do I hear any crying.
I see the dwelling place of God,
I hear praises to His name
I see all the things made new
and how nothing is the same.
I see walls of precious gems,
inside a paradise like mansion
I see it has so many rooms
with extra space for expansion.
When in the middle of the day,
when my troubles surround me
I close my eyes and think . . .
how blissful heaven will be!

Whatever the next life for God’s people turns out to be, it will obviously be wonderful, or else the biblical writers wouldn’t have used such wonderful language to try their best to describe it!

Brian, I agree. I love reading about how heaven is going to be in the Bible . . . and I can only use my limited imagination as to the true splendor of His glory so until such time it I be . . . I will keep it in my sights! ~ Have a blessed day with Jesus ~

I believe that is the beauty of heaven– absolute timelessness.
