Once blinded eyes,
they couldn’t see . . .
through the darkness
surrounding me.
But, since they’ve seen,
Jesus through His light
they now recognize evil
upon first sight.
Once blinded eyes,
didn’t see the wickedness
nor the penalty
for their recklessness.
But, since they’ve set,
their gaze on above
they can see the things
in the world not to love.
Once blinded eyes,
the dark couldn’t perceive
until in Jesus . . .
they came to believe!

“The Lord openeth the eyes
of the blind: the Lord raiseth
them that are bowed down:
the Lord loveth the righteous:”
